Michelle Doublet
Somatic Integrative Psychotherapist & Embodiment Guide
Michelle Doublet, LCSW, CCTP-II, E-RYT, YACEP, is a Somatic Integrative and Transpersonal-Oriented Practitioner devoted to healing at the intersection of mind, body, and spirit. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Massachusetts, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Certified Somatic Parts Work and Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy Practitioner, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
Michelle is the founder and owner of Thriving Light Wellness, where she offers both clinical and non-clinical services to support healing and self-reclamation. Her clinical work focuses on trauma-informed psychotherapy, addressing anxiety, trauma, complex PTSD, grief/loss, relationship challenges, and emotional dysregulation through an integrative and somatic lens. Her non-clinical work is offered through SomaSoul Embodiment LLC, a space for soul-led coaching, retreats, workshops, and group experiences rooted in somatic and energetic integration.
Within this sacred space, Michelle created The Sacred Path™, a signature framework that guides individuals in unraveling patterns of survival, remembering their innate wisdom, and reclaiming personal clarity, power, and wholeness. Her work bridges evidence-based trauma modalities with energy medicine, yoga philosophy, and intuitive, heart-centered healing to support deep, cellular transformation.
Michelle also brings a significant background in dance and fitness to her work, with years of experience leading movement-based programs across Long Island. She has introduced trauma-informed yoga and embodied practices to schools, community agencies, and weight management programs, making healing accessible across diverse settings and populations. This deep-rooted connection to the body continues to inform her integrative, somatic approach today.
Michelle holds her master’s degree in Social Work with a trauma focus from New York University (NYU). She earned her undergraduate degree from Molloy University in Social Work with a minor in Psychology, where she was recently honored with the 2025 Truth Seeker Award among all of Alumni, recognizing her dedication to the pursuit of truth, knowledge, and understanding, while fostering meaningful dialogue and mutual respect among diverse populations. This award reflects her alignment to Molloy's mission and her ongoing commitment to creating spaces where others feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. Whether through one-on-one sessions, workshops, group classes, or immersive retreats, Michelle invites others to come home to themselves, creating compassionate spaces for embodied healing, nervous system restoration, and soulful realignment.
