Marta Magdalena Marek

Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator

Marta Marek is a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and founder of ONIMA Breathwork, a global wellness practice dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies, release trauma, and restore inner peace through the power of breath.

Originally from Poland and now based in the United States, Marta’s path to healing began during one of the darkest chapters of her life. Facing deep depression, isolation, and the challenges of living abroad with an autoimmune disorder - Hashimoto’s disease, she reached a point where life felt empty and directionless. But through breathwork and meditation, Marta found a way back to herself - a way to calm her nervous system, awaken her energy, and rediscover a sense of meaning and purpose.

That experience became the foundation of her life’s work. Today, Marta guides individuals, couples, and groups across the world, both in person and online, through transformative breathwork journeys that merge science, spirituality, and compassion. Her sessions help people release emotional blockages, regulate their nervous systems, and cultivate inner stillness even in times of stress and change.

Beyond private sessions, Marta collaborates with wellness centers, retreats, and corporate organizations, bringing conscious breathing practices into spaces that need them most. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help people return to the present moment beyond the noise of the past and the worries of the future, and reconnect with themselves through the power of breath.
