Loren Crawford grew up different — a shy, lanky kid in a small prairie town, raised in a single-parent household in the 1970s, when that was unusual and emotional support was basically nonexistent. He didn't fit the mold, didn't understand why, and spent years searching for solid ground.

His 20s were directionless. He drifted through university, worked retail, landed a low-level government job, and felt the quiet frustration of a life not yet lived. It wasn't until he returned to school at 28 that something shifted — he discovered a love for facilitation and training that launched a 25-year career in the labor movement. A late bloomer, by his own admission. But blooming nonetheless.

Then came yoga. And with it, a doorway into energy work, healing, and soul-purpose coaching that would change everything. He trained and certified yoga teachers, ran a studio, and began helping people tap into their inner spark. At 38, an unexpected spiritual awakening deepened it all. A path of healing opened — and he walked it fully.Today, Loren works with midlifers who feel stuck — especially gay men over 50 navigating the question of what's next. He knows the golden handcuffs. He wore them. He also knows what waits on the other side: two, maybe three decades of meaningful work, real freedom, and a life built with intention rather than inertia.
