Kerrie-Lyann Hirst

Trauma-Informed Coach

Kerrie-Lyann Hirst is a trauma-informed coach, speaker, and social impact founder specialising in generational trauma, nervous system regulation, and cycle-breaking leadership. She is the founder of Heal A Generation CIC, a UK-based community interest company delivering trauma-informed coaching, group programmes, community events, and accessible healing resources.

Kerrie’s work is shaped by lived experience and over 15 years of leadership across health, education, and social impact sectors. Her early life experiences within complex family systems gave her a deep understanding of how unresolved trauma impacts identity, self-worth, leadership capacity, and long-term well-being. This perspective informs her grounded, ethical approach to healing that prioritises safety, accountability, and sustainability over quick fixes.

She integrates nervous system education, mindset reprogramming, inner child awareness, and trauma-informed leadership principles within clear non-clinical boundaries, actively signposting to clinical professionals where appropriate. Kerrie also collaborates with organisations, facilitators, and community partners to build trauma-aware systems that support lasting change.

As an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, Kerrie writes on trauma-informed leadership, burnout, self-worth, and the responsibility of cycle-breakers to heal themselves in order to protect future generations. Her mission is to normalise healing as leadership and ensure that personal growth translates into collective impact.
