Kate Adey

Business Founder

Kate Adey has always been curious about what makes people thrive, what makes us truly alive. That curiosity guided her from management consulting at Accenture, through specialist leadership development, to founding her practice twenty years ago.

When pregnant with her first son, a hypnobirthing course connected her to her body and to signals she had been ignoring. She completed a Master’s in Management Learning and Leadership, focusing on emotional transition to motherhood and returning to work in professional services. She lived it, studied it, and watched brilliant women navigate it.

Her curiosity led her to the teachings of non-duality, fundamentally changing how she related to herself, life, and others. She began recognising present awareness as what has always been here underneath everything. Through becoming a mother of three boys, navigating career shifts, and entering perimenopause, she discovered something. The thoughts that said she wasn’t enough, the beliefs about proving her worth, the endless doing. None of it was true.

What remained was present awareness. Post-menopause, there is a coming home. A return to wholeness that was there before conditioning covered it up.

She created The Other Way Method and the Triskele Framework, including MotherWise, CareerFlow, and MenoPower, from twenty years of working with professional women through transitions and with leaders creating cultures where talent thrives. Her book, The Other Way, published in December 2025, shows how these transitions reveal wholeness. Clients describe her as wise, insightful, and pragmatic, creating immediate safety where transformation becomes possible. She works with high curiosity, leading to realisations at both profound and practical levels.

Her work includes coaching professional women, partner coaching on leadership challenges, masterclasses breaking control cycles, team development, and parental transition support. All are focused on cultures where professional excellence and human wholeness are not in opposition. Kate lives in Somerset with her husband and three sons.
