Joey is the founder of Sacred Ascend and a mentor for high-performing men, guiding leaders to integrate physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual mastery through embodied leadership. His work blends ancient wisdom with modern practice, helping men and entrepreneurs cultivate clarity, purpose, presence, and alignment in their lives.

His journey has taken him across India, living abroad, and learning from diverse cultures and indigenous traditions. The beautiful Māori people, in particular, gave him a profound sense of homecoming and belonging, imparting many life lessons to be implemented. A period of plant medicine journeys revealed that everything we seek already exists within us, with these sacred tools serving only to help us remember it. Joey also draws strength and insight from moments that tested him, including a house fire, which deepened his emotional regulation and resilience. After spending time in solitude, mountains, and deep self-inquiry, he refined the practices that now guide others to live fully and consciously.

Through men’s circles, retreats, and courses, he combines emotional intelligence, self-inquiry, embodiment, and ritual practice to create spaces where men can reconnect with themselves, shed old patterns, and lead from presence instead of pressure. He teaches that wisdom is embodied, not studied, and that true transformation comes from living the lessons fully in body, mind, and spirit.

Joey’s mission is to help men awaken their full potential, lead with love, an open heart, strength, and conscious alignment, and tell their own stories. He encourages them to see what they need and take ownership of it with courage and clarity, integrating ancient insight, modern strategy, and lived experience into every aspect of life.
