Joe Patneaude is a Certified Executive Coach, author, and creator of the STAR Scalability℠ Method, a strategic framework that helps business owners and executives scale their businesses with intention, alignment, and efficiency. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Joe’s career spans every level of leadership, from starting in a mailroom to holding C-suite positions including Director of Technology, Interim COO, and Chief Compliance Officer. His depth of real-world experience informs every aspect of his coaching approach.

After building and selling multiple businesses, including a financial practice, insurance agency, and real estate referral business, Joe discovered a recurring gap in how companies were being advised to grow. Too often, leadership strategies overlooked the human elements of team dynamics, value alignment, and long-term sustainability. Determined to create a better path, Joe developed the STAR Scalability℠ Method, which centers growth around four key pillars: Strategy, Team, Assets, and Rewards.

Joe now works with business owners and leaders, especially within financial services—to scale their businesses without losing sight of what matters most. His method is known for delivering practical, actionable steps that align business growth with personal values and team cohesion.
