I've spent my career putting people in rooms together.
Conferences for The Economist. Exhibitions for Informa. Live events for the New Statesman. Trainings, summits, large-scale global events where the whole world seems to meet. Thousands of people, hundreds of programmes, all built around one belief: that the real value isn't on the stage. It's in the conversations that happen around it.
Now everything I've learned is coming together in something much more personal and I think much more necessary.
Because here's what the 2026 trend reports are confirming: in a world accelerating into AI and automation, humans are craving the opposite. Not more efficiency. More connection. More moments of being genuinely seen.
The rise of niche communities. Offline clubs. Shared rituals. Curated introductions. The brands and spaces investing in real human belonging are the ones that will retain talent, inspire loyalty, and actually feel good to be part of.
The ones doubling down on automation alone? Higher turnover. Burnout. A slow leak of great people.
Share-A-Table is my response to this moment.
Shared meals. Real conversation. Expanding your professional and social world yet not through an algorithm, a zoom call or a Linkedin/ Insta post but through the oldest social ritual there is: sitting down together.
We're building partnerships with workplaces, venues and communities ready to make this part of what they offer. If that's you, I'd love to connect.
