Emily Ross

Certified Clinical Trauma Provider

Emily Ross is a trauma specialist, clinical consultant, and advocate whose work is shaped by both professional expertise and lived experience. With over twenty years in mental health, she has supported individuals, families, clinicians, and organizations through trauma recovery, burnout, and nervous‑system dysregulation. Her career spans residential treatment, community agencies, private practice, and clinical supervision, where she is known for her clarity, grounded presence, and trauma‑responsive leadership.

Emily’s approach to healing is inseparable from her personal story. After her mother’s murder, she inherited the farm where the violence occurred, a place marked by generational trauma and profound rupture. Instead of abandoning the land, Emily chose to reclaim it. By tending soil, restoring neglected spaces, and rebuilding a life on the ground that held her deepest loss, she is transforming the farm into a regenerative homestead devoted to natural healing remedies, earth‑based nervous‑system work, and education.

This reclamation became the foundation of her philosophy: trauma recovery must be embodied, relational, and rooted. Emily teaches that healing requires returning to the body, honoring its signals, and allowing it to complete the cycles interrupted by trauma. Her self‑paced classes on embodied healing and nervous‑system regulation blend clinical science with land‑based practices, offering accessible pathways for people seeking to rebuild safety, connection, and agency.

Emily has presented trauma‑focused research at national symposiums, facilitated trainings for clinicians and community leaders, and developed programs that strengthen workforce resilience and trauma‑responsive care. Her work integrates evidence‑based modalities with somatic practices, eco‑social awareness, and the wisdom of lived experience.

Today, Emily continues expanding her homestead‑based healing work through herbal formulations, educational offerings, and courses that support post‑traumatic growth. Her mission is to help people remember that healing is possible and that the body, the land, and community can become powerful partners in recovery.
