Diogenes Muse-Cleveland

CEO and Founder of Muse Management Services

Diogenes Muse-Cleveland is a native of Flint, Michigan. Born to Sharon Muse, a single mother of two children, he struggled with the adversities of living in an impoverished environment.

Despite graduating with a Bachelor's Degree from Cleary College of Business, his mother struggled to find work. Making ends meet was very difficult. She tried to establish a business of her own, called Muse & Sons Trucking company. However, due to circumstances out of her control, she was unable to get it off the ground. It was from her that Diogenes would learn everything he knew related to business.

When Diogenes was injured at the age of 21, she encouraged him not to let depression overtake him. Even assisting him in trying to finish college and obtain his degree. After being banned from finishing due to defaulting on his student loans, she helped him further along still, eventually connecting him with Michigan Rehabilitation Services. It was through this organization that he obtained his first job after paralysis, working from home.

It was during this job that Diogenes was inspired to create a business that would help others like him obtain income working from home. He was even able to gather the funds to do so. However, his mother was then diagnosed with cancer, dying in 2021 of neuroendocrine carcinoma. The money had to be used to pay for her funeral. Needless to say, this turned the world upside down for Diogenes... again. Causing him to spiral into depression.

However, it was the memory of his mother and all she had done for him. All that she had poured into him, that helped him to come out of it and overcome the many other obstacles that arose in his life after her passing.

3 years after her passing, in 2024, Muse Management Services was born! Since then, Diogenes has been dedicated to honoring her memory by walking in the greatness of which she knew he was capable, not what society projected onto him because of his disability. In hopes that it would cause others like him to do the same.
