David Asselstine
Behavioral Insight Specialist
Life has taught David Asselstine that how we frame things is exactly how those things will manifest themselves. Embarking on a new journey in life when he moved to Ottawa; David became a Personal Support Worker. Comitting completely, he soon became a safety advocate and continued his education with specialized courses in Dementia Care. During this time he started developing what at the time was the 5 Dimensions of Self and soon his passion for educating himself took off once more. He became a certified Life Coach, Master of Neurolinguistic Programming, and took courses in Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Mental Health First Aid, The Art of Body language and more. His work with the Ottawa-West Men's Trauma Survivors group was what propelled 5DS into what is now 7DS.
