Colette Duvall Pondella, known as "Wolfmom," is a recognized voice in spiritual healing, animal-assisted therapy, and holistic human development. As an author, non-denominational spiritual minister, and executive director of Wolf Wisdom Healing, she has dedicated her life to helping others recover from the kind of pain that leaves deep invisible wounds.
A survivor of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, an eating disorder, and PTS, Colette transformed her own healing journey into a life's mission. Her path led her to the wolves — extraordinary beings she believes are among the most powerful instruments of heart-level healing on the planet. Drawing on Sacred Indigenous American Teachings and the profound wisdom found in nature; Colette developed the Wolf Wisdom Healing programs that serve as the foundation of her work.
Wolf Wisdom Healing, powered by Shadowland Foundation — a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to wolf advocacy and human healing — was founded by Colette and her husband, Paul Pondella. The organization offers spiritual educational programs, animal-assisted therapy, and addiction recovery assistance. Colette is also the author of the eBook Wolf Wisdom for Recovery, a cornerstone resource for those walking the path of healing.
As a spiritual minister and teacher, Colette specializes in guiding those recovering from life events that have caused great pain and suffering — helping them reconnect with their authentic selves through unconditional love, ancient wisdom, and the healing power of animals.
Her work is rooted in a simple but transformative belief: "Healing isn't about recovering from something. Healing is about recovering yourself."
