Chaila Renée Scott is a dynamic leader, policy advocate, cultural strategist, and storyteller dedicated to advancing equity, preserving culture, and inspiring intentional living. With over a decade of experience in workforce development, disaster recovery, business consulting, and community advancement, she has built a reputation for turning vision into action and action into measurable impact.

As the co-founder of Black Women for Self, Chaila leads initiatives that center radical self-care, holistic wellness, and intentional community-building for Black women. Her work blends strategy and heart, empowering individuals and communities to thrive beyond survival and create sustainable systems of support.
 
An accomplished writer, she is the author of The Playbook: Rules for Life More Abundantly, a guide to living with clarity, purpose, and abundance. Known for her ability to connect deeply with audiences, Chaila shares stories and strategies that inspire transformation, encourage self-advocacy, and honor cultural heritage.
 
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Chaila is actively engaged in cultural documentation and preservation, with projects that spotlight Black trailblazers, untold histories, and the importance of legacy-building.
