Cedric Drake

Educational Psychologist and Technology

Cedric Drake began his love for educational psychology early in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California. While attending a private school in his youth, he became increasingly interested in psychology and the importance of learning due to the economist's background of his mixed European and African American heritage. This led him to study at Loyola Marymount University, a Jesuit university with a strong history of education and moral values. After attending LMU, he worked at Los Angeles Opera as an educator, where he honed his skills as a lecturer.

He published cultural articles with PBS Los Angeles/ KCET and was educated throughout Asia, where he settled in China. He lived in Beijing, Xuzhou, and Shanghai, and taught at Sichuan University of Science & Technology, Sichuan, China, where he continued to publish culturally informed articles.

Cedric Drake returned from China to pursue a career as an educational psychologist. To further expand his psychological experience, Cedric Drake is expanding his studies in clinical psychology. Recently, his publishing credits have appeared in psychology journals such as Acta Scientiae and in collaboration with the American Psychological Association (APA). By combining both psychological practices, he plans to clinically and innovatively support mental health and the educational system worldwide.
