Camilla Wellton

Multidisciplinary Creator, Inventor, Founder, Author and Somatic Educator

Camilla Wellton is the creator of I AWAKE, a multidisciplinary body of work born from a simple but lifelong question: What helps us become more fully ourselves?

Blending neuroscience, psychology, embodied practice, philosophy, systems thinking, and design, I AWAKE explores how the body, emotions, imagination, creativity, and relationships shape the way we grow, make decisions, and experience the world. Rather than treating personal growth as something that happens only in the mind, her work invites people to reconnect with the intelligence of the whole human being.

This perspective has been shaped as much by decades of embodied practice as by Camilla’s background in design. Before founding The Sensual Institute, she built an internationally recognized sustainable fashion company celebrated for combining mathematics, science, and design, earning multiple international awards and recognition as one of Sweden’s leading fashion innovators.

Camilla continues to expand the universe of I AWAKE while helping define the emerging field of Inner Tech, exploring how technology can support, rather than diminish, what makes us deeply human. She is the inventor of a patent-pending modular AI architecture inspired by the principles of I AWAKE, extending its approach to embodied learning, reflective practice, and human development into the digital age.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Camilla writes and speaks about metacognition, human capacity, embodiment, Inner Tech, and the future relationship between people and technology.

“The next technology revolution is not about building smarter machines. It’s building technology to helps us practice becoming more fully ourselves!

Somewhere along the way, you learned that being loved meant being good. Not real. Not whole. Not fully alive. Just… good. You became the one who caused no waves. Who read the room before speaking.

There’s a kind of ache many of us carry. Not grief. Not heartbreak. Just this quiet erosion, this deep, slow ache of being almost met.

The House, The Garden, and The Sky

Most self-help systems start with a structure. I started with a feeling. Because I wasn’t looking for another theory to explain myself. I was looking for a way back into my own body.
