Alexa Starks
Workplace Culture Innovator & Leadership Strategist
Alexa Starks is redefining what it means to be both a leader and a mother in today’s workforce. An award-winning workplace culture innovator and the founder of Executive Moms, Alexa is known for creating bold, practical systems that support working parents during one of the most critical and often overlooked transitions in their careers: returning from parental leave.
With over a decade of experience in advertising technology and strategic operations, Alexa has led teams, scaled systems, and advised executives at fast-growing companies. But it was her own lived experience as a mom of two under two that exposed the cracks in workplace culture, the silence around reentry, the burnout, and the quiet loss of ambitious talent. Refusing to accept that “this is just the way it is,” she built the Reentry Blueprint, a transformative workshop that equips managers and employees alike with the tools, scripts, and systems to make reentry sustainable.
In 2025, Alexa was honored as one of the Best Workplace Culture Innovators in the U.S. for this pioneering work. Her programs don’t just “support parents,” they strengthen leadership pipelines, close equity gaps, and reshape company culture at its core.
Through corporate partnerships, keynotes, and 1:1 coaching, Alexa has become a sought-after voice on resilience, parent-forward culture, and the future of leadership. She challenges outdated systems with truth and compassion, reminding both companies and individuals that supporting working parents isn’t a perk, it’s a business imperative and a cultural reset.
Her mission is clear: to end the cycle of burnout and to build workplaces where moms and all parents can thrive as leaders without choosing between ambition and family.
