- Penelope Ling, Solution-focused Hypnotherapist, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Penelope Ling grew up in the multicultural melting pot of London during the 60s and 70s. Working in newspapers and magazines as a graphics journalist and art editor, she later moved on to web design and e-commerce database building. Unhappy in the world of IT, she retrained as a solution-focused hypnotherapist in 2007. Here she found that helping others sat well with her own value system. Having suffered from so many phobias over the years and conquering them during her training, it was a simple decision to help others overcome their limitations. Later, she added nutritional therapy, as the connection between body and mind is vital in maintaining a positive mindset. She has developed a reputation for helping those with fear of driving and in 2020 she published her book “Driving me crazy - overcome the fear of driving”. She has been a regular guest on BBC local radio and relevant podcasts talking about how your general stress affects fears and phobias, and a contributor to Happiful magazine and other nationals. Her second specialty is to help those with phagophobia, a fear of swallowing, which also incorporates gagging and losing one’s ability to speak when addressing an audience. This has led her to a worldwide client base with a wide range of people, from one with brain damage because of a stroke, to top execs needing to perform public speaking duties. Despite having dyslexia, Penelope recognises that many of us have something which makes us different and that doesn’t have to be a handicap. By finding solutions to these problems, we can overcome them. - Georgia Kostopoulou, Integrative Somatic Practitioner & Health Coach , Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Georgia Kostopoulou understands the limitations of conventional wellness approaches. Her backround as a bodybuilder (winning 1st place at several competitions), master personal trainer, and yoga teacher with years of sculpting her physique revealed a deeper truth: true healing requires a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. She's a somatic practitioner, trauma-informed coach, yoga teacher, meditation guide, and breathwork facilitator, draws from a wealth of experience. Her expertise lies at the intersection of these disciplines, weaving together powerful somatic tools like Somatic Experiencing (SE), trauma release techniques, nervous system regulation (NSR) practices, , intuitive movement, subconscious reprogramming, nutrition guidance and supplement protocols to create a transformative path to healing. Georgia's journey began with her own struggles. Despite achieving a sculpted physique, she battled depression, chronic anxiety, panic attacks, IBS, chronic physical pain and eating disorders. This experience ignited a passion for a more holistic approach to well-being. Her approach is built on three core pillars: 1. Shifting from Victim to Thriving: She empowers clients moving beyond a victim mentality, learn to view challenges as opportunities for growth. Her coaching emphasizes that a thriving mind fosters a thriving body – external solutions cannot replace the power of internal transformation. Your identity and emotions are the foundation of healing, and they are reflected in your physical state. 2. The Power of the Mind-Body Connection: Drawing on extensive research, Georgia emphasizes the critical link between mental and physical well-being. 3. The Importance of Nervous System Regulation: The nervous system plays a central role in healing. A nervous system that is not safe can hinder progress. Conversely, a regulated nervous system allows the body to function optimally and promotes healing. Georgia creates a safe and supportive space where you are seen, heard, and empowered. Her coaching is built on collaboration, integrating your beliefs, values, and strengths to build a strong mind-body connection. Georgia utilizes a combination of top-down (mindset work) and bottom-up (nervous system regulation). With her you'll navigate challenges, process emotions, and gain transformative knowledge and resources. Dr. Mantel Featherson, EdD is a mental performance researcher focused on expertise development and career sustainability for professionals over 50. His work examines how seasoned professionals can preserve relevance, income, and identity in an economy where traditional employment has become increasingly unstable and hard-earned expertise is often undervalued. After decades working inside large corporate systems, Dr. Featherson experienced firsthand how quickly expertise can be diminished by organizational restructuring, automation, and age bias. That experience prompted a decisive shift in his work–from navigating corporate advancement to helping seasoned professionals reclaim control of their careers beyond the traditional 9-to-5 employment system. He is the author of Expert to $100K+: How Professionals Over 50 Own Their Expertise and Earn Six Figures Without a 9 to 5. In the book, Dr. Featherson explores the economic realities facing professionals over 50 in a labor market that increasingly favors AI, automation, and younger, lower-cost talent, and presents a practical strategy for building income, impact, and independence—now and in the future. Dr. Featherson is also the founder of FutureProof50, a digital education platform dedicated to helping professionals over 50 convert decades of knowledge, experience, and perspective into owned, income-producing assets. Through FutureProof50, he delivers research-backed frameworks, tools, and education designed to support long-term economic independence rather than short-term job security. In addition, he is the creator of the Expertise Ownership Architecture, a four-part framework that enables seasoned professionals to shift from dependence on increasingly unstable employment toward entrepreneurial stability built on self-owned expertise. His work emphasizes ownership over employment, assets over titles, and long-term resilience over short-term opportunity. His mission is simple: help seasoned professionals stop renting their expertise to employers–and start owning it to build sustainable income, independence, and control in the second half of life. Dr. Featherson lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Michele, and their two sons. Dr. Mantel Featherson, EdD Author of Expert to 100k+ Dr.
