What If You Stopped Holding Yourself Back? Tanya Georgieva Interview on Confidence, Choice and Growth
A woman can have knowledge, experience and ambition, and still struggle to claim her place or share what she has to offer. Tanya Georgieva understands that struggle from rebuilding her life after a difficult divorce and facing health challenges, while the loss of her sister at just 25 profoundly shaped her determination to stop putting herself last and become a role model for her children. Today, she is a holistic transformation coach, educator and business mentor who has supported more than 2,500 people, founded Happy & Successful Woman Academy and created the TG Total Transformation Method, connecting personal development with professional training and practical support for expert positioning. In this interview, she shares how she helps women explore limiting beliefs and family expectations, make choices that reflect their own values and turn their knowledge into meaningful professional opportunities.
Tanya Georgieva, Holistic Transformation Coach & Educator
What inspired you to establish Happy & Successful Woman Academy, and how has your own personal journey shaped the work you do today?
My work grew from the experience of rebuilding my own life. After a difficult divorce, I started again. Eight years ago, I began a personal transformation journey while living with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, insulin resistance, prediabetes, significant excess weight, bone and joint pain, and panic attacks.
I trained in nutrition and as a K-Power® instructor, created healthy-lifestyle programmes, wrote a book about getting into shape without starving yourself, and developed a planner for happy, organised women.
I then founded a women’s club. As I continued studying, I expanded our work to include emotions, beliefs, relationships and professional goals. Over two years, the participants themselves began saying, “This is an academy now, not a club.”
Their words helped me recognise what we were building. Today, Happy & Successful Woman Academy brings together personal development, professional education and mentoring. I want women to make choices that reflect their own values, build fulfilling relationships and become confident role models for their children. My personal experience helps me understand how much courage a new beginning can require.
You once struggled with the fear of judgement when appearing on camera and television. What helped you become more confident in sharing your voice publicly?
“What will the people who already know me say?” That question once influenced decisions about recording videos, appearing on television, applying for the Brand of Bulgaria award, launching my first advertisement and bringing my book to market.
I was imagining reactions before giving myself the opportunity to try. Eventually, I recognised that remaining invisible also had a cost: people who might benefit from my work could not discover it.
Continuing my education strengthened my professional foundation. Taking action helped me become comfortable sharing it. Each video and public appearance gave me experience in communicating clearly and connecting with an audience.
That hesitation belongs to an earlier chapter of my life. Today, I confidently share my work and focus on the people I can help.
This experience matters in my mentoring because I recognise the woman who has knowledge but keeps postponing her introduction to the world. We work on a clear message, appropriate preparation and achievable actions. I want her to experience the confidence that comes from using her abilities rather than continually questioning whether she is allowed to show them.
How does your TG Total Transformation Method combine emotional awareness, holistic practices and business mentoring to support women in creating lasting change?
I created the TG Total Transformation Method to connect the tools I have studied within an approach tailored to each person. We begin with what a woman wants to change and how she would recognise progress in everyday life.
Through coaching and NLP, we explore her inner dialogue, deeply learned beliefs and automatic responses. Constellation work offers space to reflect on relationships, family expectations and possible hidden loyalties. We acknowledge emotions she may habitually suppress, while K-Power® and other holistic practices are selected according to her goals and preferences. I have also completed “Psychology: Advanced Level” as part of my continuing education.
When her goal involves professional growth, we connect reflection with practical work: choosing a direction, defining a service, communicating competence and organising delivery.
We review progress through agreed actions, such as establishing a boundary, making a decision or presenting an offer. My method has developed through practical experience and ongoing learning. I select tools within the boundaries of my competence, recognising that each woman’s circumstances and pace are different. The intention is for her to use what she learns in her own life.
What role do family patterns and limiting beliefs play in how women approach visibility, relationships and professional opportunities?
A woman may want a different life yet feel guilty about pursuing it. She might fear that becoming more visible, independent or successful will disappoint someone she loves.
In my work, we explore deeply learned beliefs and possible hidden loyalties to family stories. Messages such as “Do not stand out,” “Do not ask for too much” or “You must manage alone” may influence how she communicates, prices her work or responds to opportunities.
We examine these possibilities through questions, without assuming that family history explains every difficulty. Current relationships, practical skills and external barriers also deserve attention.
My aim is to help her distinguish between values she wants to honour and patterns she no longer wishes to repeat. She can remain connected to her family while making choices that belong to her.
That work can also influence the example she offers her children. When they see their mother express a need, ask for support or pursue an ambition, they encounter another way of living. She has an opportunity to change behaviours she does not want to carry forward into family life.
Why do you believe personal transformation and entrepreneurship are so closely connected, particularly for women building their own businesses?
Entrepreneurship asks a woman to make her abilities visible. She needs to explain her service, state a price, establish boundaries and continue making decisions when approval is uncertain.
Those situations can reveal beliefs she has never needed to examine before. She may feel that promoting her work is boastful, charging appropriately is selfish or declining a request makes her unhelpful. Even with strong training, these reactions can affect her income, time and quality of delivery.
In mentoring, we explore the personal response alongside the business decision. We clarify whom she serves, what she offers and how she will communicate and deliver it. She needs practical skills, market understanding and a service that meets a real need.
I also encourage her to consider the life she wants her business to support. Can she organise it in a way that accommodates her health, family and interests?
Professional growth becomes more meaningful when she understands why she is pursuing it. I want women to develop the confidence and practical capability to use their knowledge, while building a way of working they can sustain.
What practical steps can women take when fear of criticism or rejection prevents them from pursuing an opportunity or promoting their work?
Start by naming the action you are postponing. “I want confidence” is difficult to practise. “I want to introduce my service in a short video” gives you a task.
Then identify the reaction you fear. Are you concerned about inaccurate information, an unkind comment or rejection? Separate what you know from what you predict, and prepare for the concern you can realistically address.
Choose a manageable first step. Explain your idea to someone you trust, rehearse a brief introduction or publish one useful piece of information. Set a point at which preparation ends.
Decide how you will handle feedback. Constructive criticism can improve your work; insulting comments do not require engagement. Afterwards, record what happened and what you learned.
Support can make the process clearer. A mentor can help you shape your message, practise and follow through. If fear is persistent, intense or substantially affects everyday functioning, seek a qualified mental health professional.
You do not have to resolve every doubt before taking an appropriate action. A well-chosen step gives you experience that thinking alone cannot provide.
How does Happy & Successful Woman Academy help women turn their personal growth and professional skills into meaningful career or business opportunities?
I support women who want to develop new professional skills and those who already have expertise but struggle to find their direction, position themselves or communicate their value.
The Academy offers family and business constellations, personal and business applications of NLP and coaching, and K-Power® workshops in Epigenetic Healing Cycles and Stress Release Made Easy. I also teach three levels of Usui Reiki through the master level and three levels of Money Reiki through the grand master level. Readers can explore my training programmes, which are available in English.
Learning is supported by practice, feedback and attention to professional boundaries. We help women identify whom they can serve, shape an appropriate offer and present their competence clearly.
With my team, I have also developed practical support for professional growth and expert positioning, including content, digital presence, organisation and AI-assisted workflows. Technology helps with selected tasks, while our team reviews quality and accuracy.
Women seeking help with implementation can contact us about professional growth, positioning and business assistant support. The aim is to connect their knowledge with practical action and help them build a professional direction that fits their abilities, goals and life.
What does choosing yourself mean to you personally, and how has that philosophy influenced the decisions you’ve made in your own life?
I lost my sister when she was only 25. That loss profoundly changed how I viewed time. I remember how often she put herself last in her schedule, and I recognised that habit in my own life.
It made me question what I was postponing and why I assumed there would always be another opportunity. Choosing yourself means giving your health, needs and dreams a place in the decisions you make.
My children are central to that motivation. I want them to see a mother who learns, develops and looks for possibilities when life becomes difficult. I also want them to understand that asking for help, resting and changing direction are valid choices.
That philosophy has influenced my investment in education, the development of the Academy and my willingness to share my work publicly. Today, it also shapes how I support other women.
I hope my children learn from the way I live that they can pursue their ambitions while respecting themselves and the people around them. Continuing to grow is one way I make that belief visible.
What would you say to a woman who feels ready for change but doesn’t know where to begin, and how can she explore the mentoring and educational opportunities available through your Academy?
I would ask, “What would you like your life to make room for?” Perhaps you want confidence, meaningful work or greater freedom to travel while using your knowledge professionally.
We begin with one goal and explore what is holding you back. Having supported more than 2,500 people, I respect each woman’s circumstances, abilities and ambitions.
Through Happy & Successful Woman Academy, I offer mentoring, professional training and support for expert positioning. My team and I also help women develop digital systems and AI-assisted workflows. You can contact me about professional support and a business assistant to discuss your needs.
Where possible, I help women explore working from different locations worldwide. Alongside this, my partner programme offers preferential travel conditions and an additional income opportunity, subject to its terms and each person’s participation.
If you are ready to give your knowledge, ambitions and personal needs a place in your life, get in touch. Together, we can explore the support, skills and practical steps that could help you move forward.
