Many productive people hit a brick wall due to self-judgment and unrealistic expectations. This article explores how an Akashic Records Reading can help you gain new insights, release harsh self-criticism, and navigate your path of least resistance.

Man in the city looking for career or new opportunity concept

The push and pull of life’s struggles

The struggle for many productive people is that they get in their own way.

Whether it be self-judgment or unrealistic expectation, the push and pull comes because the notion is that you should know exactly what to do and when to do it to fix the problem and stop the nonsense.

As a guide in the Akashic Records, I see this every day.

The folks who show up at my door are intelligent, active, and creative.

They have hit a brick wall and are tired of banging their body, mind, heart, and soul against a seemingly unmovable wall.

They are frustrated that they can't figure out their dilemmas. What to do?

When you get to this type of bottleneck, here are several possibilities to end this struggle.

Recognize the insanity of repetition

First, remember, insanity rests in the repetition of the useless.

Step back, find a new perspective.

Ask, “What am I not seeing that would help me move forward?”

In the push of life, it's easy to become narrowly focused on the destination and miss the unexpected path to a better resolution.

Uncover a new perspective

Next, change your perspective of the crossroads.

Much of life’s struggle comes at transition points.

You know your life is shifting, going from old to new – but how?

Imagined as crossroads, the options seem to be left, right, or straight.

But there's an important option missing.

Explore the up-choice

The up choice is taking the opportunity to look in an unexpected direction.

The up choice doesn't get lost in false assumption or the ego of thinking you know everything.

The question here can be, “How can a different perspective help me end the struggle?”

Avoid assumptions and embrace the unknown

Often busy people assume what was true yesterday is necessarily true today.

Much time was spent last week, last month researching all the possibilities.

However, if a block appears or struggle ensues, the solution doesn't exist in what is known.

The answer rests within the unknown or the unexpected.

The role of an Akashic records reading to unlock potential

“You help me to see what I don't know.”

That's what an Akashic Records Reading can do.

Help you find a new perspective.

Show you the unexpected possibilities of your up choice.

Help you aim toward a more satisfying destination.

Being productive tends to mean being certain of the destination.

However, the destination is simply what begins your journey.

Let go of harsh self-judgment

Struggle begins when you insist on that one specific destination no matter what.

Yes, you can push through and make life all about the struggle.

Or you can step back, reassess, and find your path of least resistance.

Find a path beyond the struggle

In the step back, you have the opportunity to see the struggle is in the push toward something which would rather yield to a more productive outcome than the original idea.

The harsh self-judgment of failing to find the “right” path fades when you shift your attention to where possibility exists.

This is what the highly creative do: look for new within the unexpected.

Thus, at this juncture, this is the question to ask, “What expectation or self-judgment holds me back?”

When you're able to get to the new perspective, the path which emerges has left struggle in the dust.

Conclusion: Advocate for yourself

“I wanted to find a way past my struggle. Instead, you showed me how to go around what I thought was a block and let the struggle go. That’s when the unexpected became my destination.”

In an Akashic Records Reading with me, when you're open to possibility, you get a new perspective, identify the expectations holding you back, and let go of harsh self-criticism.

In summary, the best way to advocate for yourself is to end the struggle and dump the useless expectations.

An Akashic Record Reading can definitely help you achieve these goals and find steps forward along your path of least resistance.

P. S. When you’re in the midst of struggle, the suggested questions are great for an Akashic Record Reading or to use to journal or to meditate:

  • What am I not seeing that would help me move forward?

  • How can a different perspective help me end the struggle?

  • What expectation or self-judgment holds me back?

  • How can I see possibility within the unexpected?

  • In this moment, what/where is my path of least resistance?
