You're a real estate agent, coach & author. Can you tell us more about your work and how you ended up where you are today?

I turned 60 this year and I felt like I had to do something different with my life. I got my Real Estate license at 50 years old and so my coach encouraged me to open a publishing company. So I took on this new adventure and started writing. I have now been involved in writing chapters in over 10 different books as well as written 2 books of my own. I simply made a new choice and then implemented it.

For over 35 years I have also worked and practiced as a coach. I have held workshops, meditation, retreats, and energy healing sessions for 30 years.

What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

95% of my clients are businesswomen who are doing well but want to do significantly better and have even more amazing results. I also have a brand new women's group called MPowered Resilient Women International Mastermind, where we focus on inspiring each other and ourselves. We believe that mindset is important, especially since we are all leaders and need to stay at the top of our vibration.

Who is the woman behind this success?

In the little spare time I have, I spend as much time as I can with my partner and my dog. We like to stay out in nature or have a cozy evening at home together. I also like a good restaurant, listening to symphonies, and going to the opera or the cinema. When it comes to movies, romantic comedies are my favorites! I also enjoy cooking and baking, but whether I can bake or cook depends on how much time I have. Finally, I also enjoy parties and get-togethers with friends, especially my ladies' evenings!

You are a mindfulness fanatic and advocate for the 7 chakras, how did you get interested in this?

I was 15 when I discovered meditation and 16 when I started meditating regularly and have been doing so ever since. My father was a good man and he did the best he could. He was bipolar and would have episodes of violence frequently so I was always trying to escape the chaos. Prayer and Meditation were my therapists and retreats. From there I was drawn to more and more alternative methods of healing so I became a Reiki practitioner and then a Kundalini yoga instructor. I also spent an abundant amount of time in seminars worldwide working on the inner and outer me- self -worth mostly as my home life left me a little bankrupt in the self-love department. I spent years healing chakras and mind for myself and now for others.

Have you encountered any major challenges during your journey and how have these affected you?

Being 60 years old, technology is a bit of a challenge for me!

I also had to battle self-doubt and have struggled to get over caring what others think of me.

As an only child, I always wanted siblings and it has always been a great sadness for me that I have not had siblings. Today, I have non-biological siblings whom I appreciate very much. I have also tended to give too much of myself to others earlier in life.

What makes you feel 'out of your comfort zone?' How do you handle these types of situations?

Technology makes me feel out of my comfort zone. Some technology I learn and some I source out. I also used to feel uncomfortable around millionaires... But now I am one! I frequently make myself do something that makes me feel out of place until I feel comfortable. I love challenging myself!

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far!

I was told for 8 years by my old boss that I cannot write! After I left that position and 20 plus books later I own a publishing company!
