I'm sure you've experienced moments when you start seeing results and getting traction toward your goals, whether it’s your business, weight loss, or any goal you set, only to have it suddenly disappear. It can be frustrating and confusing, but let me tell you, we have the power to create both success and setbacks in our lives. Let’s discuss the concept of the seat of success and how it manifests in our lives. I'll also share strategies on how to achieve and maintain success along your journey.

The beginning: Idea and belief

Every success story starts with an idea a belief that something you have to offer can make a difference or provide value to others. It's critical to convince yourself of the importance of your idea and to see the potential it holds. Selling yourself on your own vision is crucial to ignite the passion and drive that will carry you forward. If you don’t believe that what you’re aiming for will completely change your life, you won’t take the action to achieve it.

Taking aligned action: The power of doing

Having an idea and belief is only the beginning. Next, you have to take consistent action toward the goal to achieve success. However, many of us falter when faced with rejection or disapproval from others. It's important to stay anchored in your belief, like a parent protecting a newborn baby. Your belief should be solid, guarded against the perceptions and doubts of others. Even though it may feel wobbly at first, keep pushing forward like a child learning to walk. When you fall, get up and try again. What can you learn from the challenge or failure? Use it as fuel for growth and continue to take inspired action.

The seat of success: Having and holding

The seat of success is reached when you have not just achieved results, but also when you can hold onto those results. This requires an unwavering self-belief, even in the face of skepticism from others. It's crucial to be aware of the unsupportive voices around you and protect your belief system. Remember, the opinions of others don't define your success. If you don’t have a supportive community around you, keep your belief to yourself until you can celebrate with someone who will keep lifting you up.

Maintaining the seat: Believing, doing, and having

To maintain the seat of success, you must continue to believe in your abilities and the impact you can make. Think of it as a toddler learning to walk. They stumble, fall, and experience setbacks, but they never lose their belief that they can walk. Don’t beat yourself up, and instead acknowledge your own growth. Remind yourself that it's normal to face new challenges and you actually want new and different problems as you reach higher levels of success. New problems means you’re evolving.

Challenges on the road to success: Limiting beliefs

Sometimes, our progress is hindered by limiting beliefs instilled in us by society, family, or past experiences. These beliefs may prevent you from fully receiving and embracing success. It's crucial to address any unresolved triggers and traumas that may be holding you back. Seek support from coaches and mentors who can guide you through this process.

The importance of community and support

Remember, you don't have to walk the path of success alone. Surround yourself with individuals who believe in your potential, lift you up, and support your growth. Seek out communities where success is celebrated, expectations are high, and the belief in each member's future self is unwavering. Having a supportive community makes all the difference in staying in the seat of success.

In conclusion, the seat of success is not just about achieving results, but also about holding onto and maintaining those results. It requires a strong belief in yourself and your abilities, resilient action-taking, and an unwavering commitment to your vision. Addressing limiting beliefs and building a supportive community are essential steps on this journey. Embrace the discomfort, navigate the challenges, and hold onto the seat of success. Your potential is limitless.
