Self-worth, it’s the most important asset a human being has that often gets overlooked. Knowing your self-worth before anyone else establishes your value is one of the most critical factors in achieving your goals. The reality is nobody can genuinely develop your worth. You must be the one that sets the value. So often, though, we take someone else’s value of us and make it our own. Our western culture in America has taught us that you aren’t worthy if the world doesn’t value you. Women, minorities, the mentally ill, etc., have been told by society that their value is less than others.

When you buy a product such as a bottle of water, it comes with a seal, and the capacity is at 100%. The bottle illustrates how you were when you came into existence. The liquid in the bottle represents your level of worth in the world. Tap into you into your internal knowing that you were born inherently worthy. Nothing on this planet could give or take away your value. You were born with a full tank. A baby isn’t born feeling unworthy; this is learned as our society gets a hold of us.

Whether it is business, relationships, or just an understanding of self, one must know they are whatever they think they are. You can either be of the opinion that your value is immeasurable, or you can believe that you’re worthless. Regardless of which you choose, you will end up living out the choice.

Look yourself in the mirror and know that you are enough, you will always be enough, and you have always been enough. Your level of worthiness isn’t contingent on how much you have, where you live, what you do for a living, or who your significant other is. Once you realize your self-worth, you will never negotiate your value again.
