Have you ever thought about what it would be like to develop software in the near future? While technology is evolving every now and then, are we humans going to continue to program heavyweight applications by spending a lot of time on manual testing and then releasing it?

When considering how rapidly AI(Artificial Intelligence), machine learning, automation in both software development and testing together with code generation tools are progressing, it is obvious that machines will produce most of the software with less code in the near future.

AI will definitely have an impact on software development which will definitely require upskill for us Software Developers. While machines are busy with developing software utilizing the advancement in AI, we Software Developers are more into instructing machines to what to deliver.

In this evolving landscape, engaging with custom software development and consulting can provide tailored solutions and strategic insights, ensuring that software not only meets current technical demands but also anticipates future trends.

Utilizing AI in the right direction will definitely shape the future of software development. Replacing manual tasks with automation and building machines to deliver the IT-systems will revolutionize Modern Software Development without a doubt.

What would be the key factors of Modern Software Development in the near future?

  • Have a tendency to build lightweight applications using Microservices Architecture instead of building heavyweight Monolithic Applications.

  • Cloud Computing and Cloud-based services will modernize the on-premise IT-Infrastructure.

  • Software will perform much faster due to AI being the driving force by feeding the software with what users previously preferred and predicting the future actions of the users.

We are heading to exciting times in terms of bringing high-tech that will definitely benefit humanity.
