She sold make-up. She ran coaching groups. She was a bartender on the weekends. She started networking groups. There was nothing she would not do or try. She knew the meaning of "Hussle." I couldn't understand her focus or where she was headed back in the day. Today, I realize she was freaking brilliant.

These days, Jasmine is worth a pretty penny. She has her own podcast show, her own media studio, and is a networking Queen. She is well-known in Beverly Hills and continues to surprise everyone. She cannot be stopped. Is Jasmine just more competent than everyone else? My answer: no! So, how did Jasmine manage to be highly successful? Simple: she took MASSIVE ACTION.

Tony Robbins describes this perfectly. According to Robbins, when clients come to him who has supposedly "failed" at something, they usually start by telling him, "I have tried everything, and nothing has worked!" to which Robbins always replies,

"Really? You have tried EVERYTHING?"

"Ok, thousands of things!"

"Really? Thousands of things?"

"Ok, hundreds!"

"Really? Hundreds?"

"Ok, a few things. But they DIDN'T WORK!"

And that's the issue! We do a few things, but they do not work, so we give up. We feel it's a "sign" from the Universe that we are not meant to do it in the first place. And don't get me started on what my beloved Spiritual community believes. I constantly hear things such as, "the Universe was clearly giving me a sign that it wasn't meant to be" or "if I were meant to do this, it would be easy!" So, to that, I say, "What?" I have never met a successful entrepreneur who said that building a successful business was easy. I can tell you from experience that my life as an entrepreneur has been anything but easy. Most of what we want in life takes discipline. The following is one of my favorite quotes:

"Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely." ‒ Unknown.

It's true. Life isn't easy. Whatever we want takes work. We set ourselves up for failure when we demand and expect things to come quickly and without effort. And blaming the Universe for things not working out is ridiculous. We are the creators of our lives; we need to take 100% responsibility for everything we create or don't create.

So, back to Jasmine. Her goal was to become a successful entrepreneur. And she did. How? She took massive action and really did try everything until she found what created success for her. She was unstoppable. I am positive that she failed many times initially, but she did not allow that to stop her. She didn't say, "oh well, I guess Mercury is in retrograde; it's not meant for me!" She didn't say, "it's too hard; I tried too many things; the Universe must not want this for me!" No, she just kept going. And dammit, the girl is on fire now!

Do not underestimate this. Taking massive action is THE secret ingredient that will get you from "dreaming" to actually "living" the life you have always wanted. There is no way that you will not have significant success after taking massive action. My advice? Try it all. Say yes to everything. Keep going, even when it seems impossible, actually, especially when it seems impossible. Having faith is a must.

I believe that the Universe tests us. It's almost as if it's asking, "well, how bad do you want this?" Show the Universe that you will stop at NOTHING. Just imagine if you take massive action daily. Where do you think you will be in 6 months? A year? Five years? Unstoppable.

If you are wondering what massive action looks like, it can look like anything from:

  • pitching clients daily

  • making that important phone call you have been avoiding

  • hiring that Coach you know will take you to the next level

  • investing in yourself

  • doing that scary action that you know will change your life forever

You know what it is. And the best part is that once you start, the next step will be shown and then the next. It's a magical process.

In the meantime, while so many entrepreneurs are upset because the Universe didn't allow them to live the life of their dreams, Jasmine is living it up. Creating. Being a badass boss lady. Because she did not use the Universe as an excuse, she began her own reality and made shit happen. She's not more intelligent or better than you. So, get out there and start living the life you want to live…one massive action at a time!
