Here we go, 2022! As I think about all 2021 brought us, I think back to 2020 and how we’ve evolved these past two years. Words that come to mind… resilience, perseverance, reinvention, transformation. The world turned upside down in 2020. In 2021, we began to rebuild. There was a lot broken. There still is. It’s up to you and me to create the world we live in moving forward. Many are pausing in this moment of transition to reassess.

There’s so much opportunity right now to lean in, step up and create. We get to re-write it ALL!

What part do you play? What lights you up?

It starts with each one of us individually waking up to what’s not working within our own reality. It’s an inside job.

We are ALL leaders and leadership starts with SELF!

As a leader, are you awake to what really matters?

Most importantly, are you courageous enough to embody and chase it? Bold enough to do the work it will take to get there?

The end of the year is traditionally a time for us to think about these questions. As we think about them, we create resolutions (commitments).

Did you know that most resolutions are broken by mid-January?

  • How will this year be different for you?

  • How will you stay accountable to your commitment?

Life will only ever be as good as you allow it to be.

If you want something different and continue to self-sabotage what you really want, YOU are the block. Weight loss is a great example of this. If I say I want to lose weight, yet I keep eating bad food and don’t exercise, no one else is to blame. Doesn’t make me a “bad” person. I am simply not committed to what I say I want (to lose weight). Commitment without committed action is just a wish. You likely will not get the result you are looking for.

Mindset is EVERYTHING.

Clarity + Intention + Action = Results:

  1. Carve out time to sit in strategic thinking to get CLEAR around what you REALLY want to create.

  2. Once you are clear, outline an INTENTIONAL accountability plan to keep you in committed action to make it happen! This is where most goals break down. Knowing what you want is the easy part. The plan for how you stay accountable to the “goal” is critical.

  3. Committed ACTION is what will create the result(s)

In the next 24 hours, create 30 minutes to journal on:

  • What are you committing to in 2022?

  • What plan do you have in place to stay accountable?

  • Who will hold you accountable to the ongoing plan (action)?

You got this! YOU are your own BEST coach! Self-leadership will lead you HOME to accomplishing (creating) what it is you say you really want.

If you are ready to take your leadership and/or your TEAM to the next level, connect and let's talk!

Every day, I coach and hold clients accountable to the results they are creating. You are not alone. Growth is not meant to be done on your own. Reach out. Create support!

I have several keynotes and programs to support you. There has never been a more important time to rise in your leadership and create a new way.

The world needs you.

In love, light and leadership;
