We are all guilty of judging, both ourselves and others, at some point in our journey. We are human. It happens. But it’s important to not let judgment be the norm, because, simply put, it limits you.

Your judgment limits your creativity.

Your judgment limits your personal power.

How so you ask? Great question.

When we judge ourselves, we limit what is possible. We limit what we are capable of.

Judgment shuts down the divine spark of inspiration before it’s even had a chance to manifest, to grow, to evolve, to FLOURISH into something big and beautiful and, quite possibly, beyond anything you could have imagined.

When we judge ourselves, we put out the fire before we have even given it a chance to grow.

I invite you to turn inward for a moment and inquire, do I shut down my own ideas because my logical mind can’t see the how?

Do I judge my ideas, and my visions, because I can’t see the how or the why?

As soon as we judge, we feel criticized… we contract, and then we shut down. We close the door to the possibilities before we’ve even explored them!

We need to surrender to the uncertainty, to the “not knowing”, because it’s in that space that we allow possibilities and answers to drop in.

Rather than allowing fear or ego to shut down our dreams and sparks of inspiration, I invite you to move into curiosity. I wonder how this could work? I wonder how this idea could come to life? I wonder if I can seek evidence to support this vision rather than contradict it?

In a world that is constantly seeking instant gratification, I urge you to hold space for the idea to come to life, judgment free. As you hold space for the idea, it may grow and evolve into something much more profound than you could have even imagined, but the only way it can grow is if it’s nourished with the energy of possibility.

When we start thinking of our mind as a playground, a place to PLAY with possibility and potentiality, we take the pressure off. We pull back from judging and figuring out what to do with every idea that comes our way, and allow it to simmer. Allow it to grow if it’s supposed to, or allow it to fade away if it’s not aligned for us.

And the only way to determine this is to simply give it time, judgement free.

Don’t squash those beautiful ideas, visions + creations of yours before you’ve given them the gift of your curiosity.
