“Actions of heroism, the words of others, which I suppose I can proudly take on as my own during this embarrassing time, are a strange feeling, overwhelmed with strength and weakness, which are very conflicting. It was vital for me to share this moment, this case, and this injustice with as many people as possible. However, oppression was an objective of the jail, an objective I outwitted. The truth was out there. Human Rights Matter.” – Marcia BNoose

Set in the confines of Adelaide’s Women’s Prison (AWP), Political Prisoner 192703, the pursuit of justice takes you on a journey of survival through self-love, defined as self-care, compassion, and respecting one’s uniqueness, a tow-the-line mentality of staff, and a place of unexpected friendships. Collective trauma and hard-earned triumphs shared in books and conversation leave critics applauding the unique and historical account of prison time spent in Australian women's prisons. A page-turner read, readers have read from start to finish, with no desire to put the book down overnight. Inspiring, uplifting, captivating.

Political Prisoner 192703 Extract, ‘There are some remarkable stories out of oppression and detainment. Many political leaders have faced litigation and incarceration. Politics is my desired future after fashion. A Human Rights activist, not a man nor a martyr. This incarceration nearly broke my poor little spirit and its hopes for resolution and a fair trial regarding police and government criminal negligence. I had to remind myself that important things, people have achieved much out of adversities.

To watch free speech eroding at any avenue with oppression allowed to flourish in covert and obscure ways, while Julian Assange was finally free from incarceration himself, is surreal.

Attention drawn to the plight of Human Rights gives others in jeopardy of the same ill treatment the opportunity to be saved, they say.’

Political Prisoner 192703 releases in hardcover, paperback, and eBook formats, with audiobook formats launching shortly after the physical print release. Political Prisoner 192703 is now available for pre-sale online via the Barbwire Noose.com website.

Releasing in bookstores and online worldwide. Marcia BNoose will also embark on a nationwide/international book tour in 2026. Visit here for tour dates and exclusive bonus content.
