Jason Miller, CEO & Business Strategist

What is your business name and how do you help your clients?

The company that I currently sit as the CEO of is the Strategic Advisor Board. My number one focus with clients is to help them exceed revenue levels they have never done before. We pride ourselves on being able to create rapid revenue with the companies we work with. Although that’s subjective we also build long-term 3-year relationships with every client to ensure everyone wins in the relationship. We will literally rip our client’s business apart and help them put it back together so it can run as efficiently as It was intended to run.

Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?

This is a hard question to answer because there are so many people around me every day. None of us “Make it” alone and there have been so many people in my life that have helped me along the way. If I had to pick just one, it would be my wife, Erika Miller. She has put up with the late nights, 100-hour work weeks, frustrations, challenges and being gone on business. She has been the family rock and despite our frustrations together at times we have been a good compliment to each other over the many years in life and business. I must mention someone else because I think it’s important and that’s my son Barrett Miller. He is 6 years old, and I can always count on him for an unfiltered answer! In today’s world and in my position it’s hard to get someone’s honest opinion nowadays. It’s something I can always count on my son to do! That unfiltered dose of honesty!

What is your work inspired by?

This is a simple answer for me. I am inspired everyday by our clients like Chukki Okobi who is a retired NFL Superbowl Champion, David Carter and Reggie Walker, who are also retired NFL Superstars, and Mike Moore who had to medically retire from the NFL due to a tragic injury. Why do these 4 men inspire me? They inspire me because they are successful businessmen and have the overwhelming desire to help other people reach the goals and aspirations they want to reach. I don’t view these 4 great men as clients but as people that are out to change the world just like me. Do things different, think outside the box, make waves, and disrupt the market in the biggest way possible. These are the types of people I surround myself with and who inspire me to wake up every morning as a CEO and drive harder and faster every single day.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

Where do I even begin? There are so many of these times that have happened in my life. Being a multiple business owner has caused me to grow in ways I would have never thought possible. You must level up your game in a big way when you have a lot of people that count on you! I think pivotal moments happened in stages for me to get where I am today! Being raised on a farm and understanding what hard work is was pivotal to become an adult. Joining the Military and serving my country for over 2 decades was pivotal because I learned to use words like Honor, Duty, Loyalty, Selfless-Service and live by them as my compass in life. These two pivotal points are what contributed to both my successes in business and failures alike. Passion is not always a good thing despite what most people say. Risk-taking is a must but both passion and risk must be calculated together for the most optimum outcome that is free of emotion. Being raised on a farm and being in the military were without question the two most pivotal times that led me to where I am today.
