My New Book ‘The Mindful Muse’ has been a work in progress for the last 9 months. Having been an observer and listener of various people, also an effective communicator and relationship builder for a long time now, I found that one of the subjects popped up often was that people didn’t feel schools were teaching children how to understand their own emotions and mindset to the extent they should be.

Having already decided I would like to write a book about emotions and mindset and another book with my poems in, I had a complete A-HA moment.

Schools study poetry, poetry is written on emotions, if I create a book with poetry, emotion descriptions and tasks that can be done to help understand and cope with emotions, then schools do not have to create an extra class for this to be covered, and children get the best of poetry and emotional understanding.

So, that is exactly what I did!!

Is it just for school children?

Absolutely not!!

  • School children – Can expect to learn about poetry and how emotions are connected to poetry, emotional understanding of themselves and others, boundaries and how to set them, consent, friendships, trust, dishonesty and how it affects others, discipline and routine and so much more. There are tasks for every single emotion and mindset.

  • People who struggle with mental health – The Mindful Muse can be used as a support book whilst you are waiting for a diagnosis or simply as an extra alongside you medication or therapies you already participate in.

  • For parents – The Mindful Muse can be used to help younger children when explaining emotions too them. But also, as a parent, it can be used for own mindset. When we as parents understand these things better ourselves, then we also find it easier to reiterate these things to our children.

  • Professionals – If you are a professional like a support worker, a nurse, a business leader, even a government worker, The mindset Muse gives you the description of the emotion and the tasks are centred around yourself and looking at the bigger picture, so that you can understand why people are the way they are sometimes.

This really is a book for anyone and everyone!!

Where are the profits going?

The funds from this book are going into a few things. The first one, is to have those few little treats for my family. We haven’t been on holiday in a while and my son desperately wants to visit Canada, so I would like to take him for his 18th birthday, next year.

The second reason is that I just love helping people. I am very much the go to person among friends, I am a mindset coach, I charge £30 per session but I only work with 10 people at a time. This is my way of being to help so many more at the same time.

The third reason is very close to my heart and is a part of my business plan. My business is The AGA institute of people. The website will be live within the next few weeks. Within the AGA Institute of people is The Individual Empowerment Program. This is a new program that has been set up by me to support people in communities that have been relying on charity aid, so that they can become self-sufficient supporting their communities. I work with these people and help them to build their own business plan, so that we can approach business who would like to support a cause through sponsorship. The plan is to match these businesses budget to the sponsor budget. A community helping a community so to speak.

What can companies expect from doing this?

  • Awareness: Sponsorship can help to raise a company's profile and increase brand awareness. This can be especially valuable for small or emerging companies that are looking to build their brand.

  • Positive Publicity: Supporting single-person organizations can create positive publicity for a company, which can help to enhance its reputation and improve public perception.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Sponsoring single-person organizations can be seen as a way for companies to fulfil their CSR objectives by giving back to the community and supporting worthy causes.

  • Networking Opportunities: Sponsoring single-person organizations can provide opportunities for companies to connect with other sponsors and like-minded organizations, which can lead to new business opportunities or collaborations.

  • Employee Engagement: Supporting single-person organizations can be a way to engage employees and boost morale. Employees may feel proud to work for a company that supports worthy causes and may be more motivated to work for a company with a strong social conscience.

Overall, sponsoring single-person organizations can provide companies with a range of benefits that can help to enhance their reputation, build their brand, and create new business opportunities.

For our single-person causes there are benefits too?

  • Financial Support: Sponsorship can provide crucial funding to help single-person organizations maintain operations, invest in equipment or materials, or expand their reach.

  • Credibility: Being sponsored by a well-known or respected company can add to the credibility of the single-person organization, which can make it easier for them to attract additional support in the future.

  • Networking Opportunities: Sponsorship can provide access to new networks and connections that the single-person organization may not have had access to otherwise.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Sponsorship can provide exposure for the single-person organization through marketing and promotional efforts by the sponsor, which can help raise awareness of their work.

  • Training and Development: Some sponsorship programs may offer training and development opportunities for the single-person organization, which can help them develop new skills or improve their operations.

There is one person that I would really like to thank, his name is Dennis Geelen. Dennis made a course called The Authors Playbook. This course is available on Gumroad for $75, if you are thinking about writing your first book or are halfway through and struggling then this is the course for you.

Dennis has given step-by-step videos and tasks to help people stay on the right path from the moment you start writing through to setting a finish date, editing, and publishing options. This course made my whole book writing experience that much more structured and stress-free. I cannot stress how valuable this course is to the writing community.
