Is magic real? Do you have within you powers that can summon forth things at will. Can you make a decision, act on it and see it come into manifestation? I believe so. There are, though, a few key elements to it all working smoothly and running like clockwork.

Magic can manifest. It is nothing fanciful; it is how we create things all the time. To summon magic, you only need an awareness of how you create. Once this awareness is second nature, you can wish things into being. Well, almost. Practical and achievable goals are within easy reach – miraculous and seemingly unreachable or lofty objectives take more specialisation.

Key elements of magic

In the same way that you bake a cake from separate ingredients, using magic for manifestation is about finding the appropriate ingredients and making a plan. A plan can include actual steps, mental steps (a spell) and even prayer. Some things feel bigger than our current capacity – it's always cool to call on angels, your spirit guides, your inner priest/priestess, your god or goddess.

Integrity

You need to believe in yourself. To build on this quality you should do what you say you will. This is a type of loyalty to yourself and will help you more than you can imagine. How you live with reliability to those around you reflects what you truly believe about yourself. Trust in yourself by doing what you say. Always follow through. If you need to change course let others know too.

Clarity

Be clear about what you want. Don't get into things just by bumping into them, after bouncing off something you don't want. In that context, knowing what you don’t want is a good start.

Better still is to have a clear and detailed pathway. Plan it, visualise. A clear picture makes it way easier for you to take the direction you want.

Steadfastness

Be willing to persevere. A pathway will show itself. However, sometimes it may have twists and turns and the view may only gradually come into sight. Being steadfast and confident may take some building. Don’t be overly concerned about that, it’s not essential to have good self-esteem or to have total confidence. A “go get ‘em” approach and sticking to things is vital.

Honesty

Being honest and sincere about things in life will assist greatly in building integrity. By being true there is little room for conflicting and distracting circumstances that might take you off your path. By being honest you will gain more insights into your own purpose as well as the paths that others are taking. By taking advice from others you learn to give it too. Wisdom will come.

Opportunity & Inner Magic

The way your magic appears may surprise you at times. Be open to new or unexpected ways for your magical ‘wishes’ to manifest. Others may give you tips and advice; take them. Being able to discern good advice builds your own bank of inner wisdom that one day you can share with others. Then you can help and guide them to their own inner magic.

Pure Magic

This is the spice and sparkle. You don’t always need to know how something comes about. Allow for magic and expect.

A good exercise is to start a wishing jar. The following is a wonderful example of the mechanics of magic in action.

Wishing jar

Think of your next big goal. Mine was to travel crom Sydney to New York. I had no money to go, I needed several thousand dollars. I committed to putting every single silver coin I had into a wishing jar. If I had to use a coin for a machine or give it to someone who asked for it, that was to be replaced in the wishing jar with a $5 note. If I left any money lying around, or left in a pocket, that went into the jar. This was my commitment and I kept integrity by remaining true to this.

Within 12 months I had my two-week trip all paid for, plus spending money. It was truly magical. I was given free accommodation in mid-town Manhattan for a week. My very own serviced two-bathroom apartment. I found affordable all-expenses paid mini tours taking me to a total of 10 states! Flights came on special just the week I booked them. Incredible!!

Magic is real. Where your thoughts and focus go, you will follow.

Love potion

Then there is the magical manifestation from my romantic love spell. But that’s a whole other story.
