Master’s in Energetic Medicine Program Opens for Applications

21 September 2026 - Applications have opened for the Master’s in Energetic Medicine (M.E.M.) Certification Course, a new 3½-year online and in-person program to train and certify Energy Healing practitioners in multiple traditions, beginning in January 2027. (Continuing Education Credits may be available.)
Drawing upon Medical Qi Gong, Egyptian Alchemy and The Way of The Well from pre-Celtic Ireland, the program will offer more than 600 hours of weekly online teaching, guided practice and in-person workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Applications are open worldwide until 3 November 2026. Prior experience in energy healing is not required, but applicants should be prepared for sustained practice, personal development, and a passion for healing the self and/or others.
At the heart of M.E.M. is the principle that developing the embodied capacity to heal others begins with the practitioner’s own healing. Students will begin with practices developed over centuries and across multiple cultures to clear and resolve their own emotional and physical ailments and traumas; cultivate their own energy and spirit; develop energetic and intuitive perception; and then progress to detailed techniques and clinical protocols for treating specific diseases.
Dr. Deirdre Kennedy, one of the three faculty members, hopes the program will help restore Divine Feminine principles to the teaching and practice of energetic medicine. She said: “The Divine Feminine is not exclusive to women. Its restoration brings greater balance, depth and wholeness to both the practitioner and the practice of healing.”
Weaving together three healing traditions
The curriculum brings together complementary principles and practices from three distinct traditions and follows three stages of practitioner development:
Brigid and The Way of the Well in Ireland, Fire of the Hearth, and Lower Dan Tian: foundational principles, purging and clearing, an introduction to Neigong and Divine connections, depth of understanding of the jing wells in the body.
Sekhmet and Egyptian Alchemy, Fire of the Forge, and Middle Dan Tian: the Heart Center, energetic cultivation, energetic hygiene and clinical protocols, 7 arrows of Sekhmet.
Xi Wangmu and Chinese Medical Qi Gong, Fire of Heaven, and Upper Dan Tian: deeper clearing, Divine Fields, cosmic/heavenly Qi cultivation, clinical protocols and Divine Tools.
Online teaching, in-person practice and individual support
In addition to full-group, 2-hour online weekly classes and eight four-day in-person workshops occurring semi-annually, students will be supported through faculty-led small-group practice, paired student practice, community chat groups and individual assessments at the end of each year.
The faculty includes Dr. Deirdre Kennedy, Dr. Leonard Shen and Dr. Eliza Meeker, three Doctors of Chinese Energetic Medicine with decades of experience across Medical Qi Gong, energetic medicine and Daoist, Buddhist, Christian, Druid and Egyptian spiritual traditions. These faculty members are well recognized authorities, having made multiple presentations at the May 2026 Harvard Medical School conference, “The Science of Tai Chi and Qi Gong as Whole Person Health”, and were featured in the August 2026 National Qi Gong Association global webinar, “Introduction to Medical Qi Gong".

Applications and program information
Applications are open from 21 September until 3 November 2026. Successful applicants will be notified no later than 11 November 2026, and the program begins during the week commencing 11 January 2027.
