It's the end of another year, which for many people stirs up the idea of choosing a New Year's Resolution. Kicking off the next year with thoughtful ambitions can feel pretty motivating in the beginning, but then, somehow, they fall flat for many.

While there may be several reasons for this, let's focus on another way to end the current year and be excited to ring in the next one that may make a positive impact.

We're going to do "Year Reflections."

Find a cozy place in your home, with your favorite beverage, and take a pen to paper reflecting on all that's gone on in the past year. This does mean the "good" and the "bad." Everything that you've experienced, reflect on. How these things felt, the lessons that have come out of them, and the growth that has come.

Try not to judge any of it whether you can see it yet or not, those experiences are meant to show you something about your path.

Now, when you're done with that, reflect on what you'd like to "leave" in 2023 and not take with you into 2024.

Maybe it's a behavior or habit, a job, a relationship, or just anything that is no longer serving your highest good.

Honor the reason(s) for it up until now, and then declare that it is no longer needed for you moving forward.

Now it's onto the fun part!

2024 dreaming how will this next year look if you set no restrictions on yourself?

What is the dream life that maybe you haven't dared to step into yet?

What does that look like? Where will you go?

What will you create?

What's a dream that's tugged on your heart that you maybe haven't taken action on?

If you did take action, what would those steps look like if you started them this year?

Dream, and be detailed! Write or draw out what life will look like if you stepped into your dream state now not ten years from now, or once someone permits you to, but now.

One thing we are not guaranteed is timeTime is not meant to be wasted; the length of our experience is unknown. Yet, if you're reading this, you have today.

Dream now. Reflect now. Move consciously through life. Release what is no longer serving you and step in the direction of your dreams in 2024.
