You KNOW that you’re here on this planet to do something great. You can feel it in your bones, and you want to step out and be the innovative visionary or leader that transforms lives. When you feel this so deeply in your soul, you owe it to yourself and the world to create a business that disrupts the norms in your industry. But what if there’s a global crisis? Will you succeed?

The first step is dissecting your business vision

Do you have a business vision that will propel you to success in these turbulent times? Your business vision includes many aspects that are important to que into if you want to stand out from your competition.

It includes:

  • Your core values (designing a business that aligns with your strengths and weaknesses)

  • Your identity (who you believe you are and what you’re capable of accomplishing)

  • Your marketing plan (this is meant to be thoughtful and impactful, not half-hearted)

  • Your product or service (what you’re selling and how you’re positioning it as the answer)

  • Your ideal outcome (what is it that you’re really trying to do with your brand)

Your business vision needs to be well thought out and incorporated all aspects of your niche including your avatar, their pain points, and their ultimate goals. If you can hit all these components, you’re less likely to be shaken by a global crisis.

Being innovative and one-of-a-kind

Begin by asking yourself, “what makes me different from everyone else in my niche?” This is the point where you’re creating from the ground up so that your brand will be the leader and rise even in a global crisis.

Our world has seen its fair share of crises and the latest is a recession. Many entrepreneurs ask themselves if they should even continue their business or “just get out while the getting's good” or maybe not even dream of starting a business and just wait it out.

The answer is… now is a fantastic time to own and run a business if you’ve got what it takes.

This is your opportunity to be a rule-breaker and create the business you really want. As an example, my mind immediately thinks of celebrities and athletes who rocked us with their ability to be innovative and rise above the other amazing talents.

You might recall an interview with Madonna many years ago when she said that she didn’t believe that she had a great voice but rather, she had something to say. She wanted to continue to transform and push herself to be her best at entertaining… and she did.

Do you have a heart and a passion for your clients?

This is at the core of a successful business. There are many entrepreneurs who go into business “just for the money” and end up struggling to make ends meet.

The Badass entrepreneur goes much deeper than this, after all, this is a superficial way of running a business.

What do I mean?

When you’re designing a business model and a marketing strategy solely from the need or desire to make money, you’re missing out on the bigger picture.

Big picture thinking involves solving a problem.

Once you drop from your head thinking about “all the things” and sink into your heart FEELING and leaning into your client’s pain, you’ll create a world-class business brand that rocks the world in a big way.

Tip: What is your client’s biggest problem and their most desirable result?

Break out of the cookie-cutter business model

If you’re like most entrepreneurs, you’re online scrolling on social media and having some epiphanies about the way to brand yourself as well as what your marketing plan needs to look like.

The problem is that these cookie-cutter solutions won’t necessarily work for everyone and they certainly won’t create a world-class brand that is recognizable instantly.

The solution is to create a business model that people will do business with even in rough economic times. Some good examples are Lewis Howes, Brendon Burchard, and Gabrielle Bernstein, just to name a few. These amazing people have created brands that need no introduction and are leaders and visionaries.

Becoming a badass entrepreneur who runs a successful business and can continue to profit even in a global crisis requires a certain mindset to level up. This is when you can command the rates that are responsible for creating lifestyles that are admired the world over.
