Helping Visionaries and Neurodivergent Minds Thrive – Interview with Janell Warkentin

Janell Warkentin is a master energy coach and certified learning specialist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals reconnect to how they’re truly designed—energetically, emotionally, and cognitively.

She began her journey not in a clinic or classroom, but in the field—training horses as a teenager, where she first learned to read energy and work with the unseen. This early foundation shaped her unique ability to sense and shift frequency in the human body, long before she had language for it. Over the decades, she trained under master healers, developed the ability to channel frequencies through her hands and voice, and built a practice that helps visionary leaders, intuitive professionals, and neurodivergent learners move from confusion to clarity.

Janell is also a certified Davis® learning specialist and has worked extensively with dyslexic, ADHD, and highly sensitive individuals. Her ability to see both energetic and perceptual patterns allows her to guide clients—whether children or CEOs—through precise, powerful shifts that realign them with their true design.

She believes healing is not about fixing what's broken, but clearing what's not yours—so the intelligence inside you can finally lead.

What inspired you to start your business?

It wasn’t one decision. It was a lifetime of seeing what others missed—and realizing that ignoring that ability was never going to work for me.

I’ve always been able to read energy in people’s bodies, in their words, in the spaces between what they’re saying. At first, I kept it hidden. But over time, it became clear this was the work I was here to do. Not just because it helped people feel better, but because it helped them come back to themselves.

That same clarity showed up in my work with neurodivergent and dyslexic learners. I’d watch brilliant kids struggle, not because they couldn’t learn, but because they were being taught in a way that didn’t fit their mind. I realized I could do something about that. So I did.

This business came from following what felt true, even when it didn’t make sense to anyone else. That’s still how I operate today.

Please tell us about yourself and your business.

I always tell people, this work didn’t start in a classroom. It started with horses. I was a teenager training animals that most people couldn’t reach, and I learned how to feel what was happening beneath the surface. That became the foundation of everything I do now.

Whether I’m guiding a high-level entrepreneur who’s lost clarity, or working with a child who’s been shut down by how they were taught to learn, the goal is the same: help them see how they’re wired, clear what doesn’t belong, and return to what’s true for them.

I’ve been doing this for over two decades, and I still wake up excited to do it. Because when someone starts making decisions from alignment—not survival—that shift ripples out into every part of their life.

What is your business name and how do you help your clients?

I work under my own name—Janell Rae—because my work is deeply personal and intuitive. No two people come in with the same energetic blueprint, so no two sessions or programs look exactly the same.

Some clients work with me one-on-one through energy recalibration sessions. Others come into my programs, like The Gold Inside You or Energy Intelligence, where they learn how to clear emotional and energetic interference and reconnect to their internal guidance system.

I also work with ADHD, Dyslexia and Neurodivergent learners—kids and adults—helping them access language, comprehension, and self-trust through perceptual tools that match how their brains are built.

At its core, this work helps people stop second-guessing themselves. It brings clarity, restores momentum, and makes space for the version of you that’s been waiting underneath the noise.

What kind of audience do you attract and who would benefit most from your work?

I attract people who’ve already achieved a lot, but still feel off inside. Many are visionaries, leaders, or highly intuitive professionals. They’ve followed the rules, done the mindset work, maybe even tried the wellness routines—and yet they know there’s something deeper asking to be seen.

I also work with families, especially those raising children who are labeled as “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” or “hard to teach.” These are often the kids carrying deep perceptual gifts that no one has taught them how to use.

The people who benefit most from this work are the ones who are ready to stop performing and start aligning. They don’t want a fix. They want clarity. And once they get that, they move fast—because it’s not about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who they already are.

What are your current goals for your business or brand?

This year is all about expansion, but with precision. I’m creating more ways for people to access this work—live panels, group experiences, digital programs, while still keeping the quality and depth that makes it powerful.

I’m also bringing together a community of energy-aware leaders, healers, and innovators who are ready to lead the shift, not just talk about it. That means creating spaces where this work isn’t fringe or hidden, but centered, where the ability to read energy, clear distortion, and make decisions from alignment is seen as the new intelligence.

Long-term, I see a future where energy mastery is woven into leadership, education, healing, and innovation. I want my work to be part of building that.

What is your top piece of advice for readers who desire to grow personally and professionally?

If you’re constantly tired, confused, or second-guessing yourself, it’s not a flaw. It’s a signal.

Your energy field speaks before your words ever do. Your body knows what’s right before your brain catches up. The fastest way to grow is to stop forcing yourself to match someone else’s path and start listening to the one already inside you.

Growth isn’t about adding more. It’s about clearing what’s in the way.

The more aligned you are with your actual design, the less effort it takes to create movement. And the more impact you’ll have—without burning out.
