Heidi Richards Mooney, publisher, entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and founder of Women in Ecommerce, has officially released her new book, The Expectant Author: A Trimester-by-Trimester Guide to Writing and Delivering the Book Inside You. Available now on Amazon.

Book titled "The Expectant Author" on a wooden table with a sunset beach backdrop. Coffee mug reads "Your Legacy Begins Here." Flowers and pens nearby.

The book is designed to help entrepreneurs, thought leaders, coaches, creatives, and aspiring authors finally bring their ideas and stories to life through a clear and encouraging writing framework. Published by WUN Publications, Inc., The Expectant Author introduces readers to “The Trimester Method™,” a unique approach that compares the process of writing a book to the stages of pregnancy and birth. In conjunction with the launch, Richards Mooney is also introducing “BookBorn Day,” an annual celebration observed on May 15 honoring authors who complete and publish their books.

“Over the years, I’ve met so many brilliant people carrying incredible stories, ideas, expertise, and experiences inside them, yet never writing the book they dream about,” said Richards Mooney. “I wanted to create a guide that makes the process feel less overwhelming and more human, something that gives people permission to begin before they feel perfectly ready.”

Built around the concepts of Conception & Clarity, Development & Structure, and Delivery & Completion, The Expectant Author provides readers with practical guidance, encouragement, prompts, and strategies for turning unfinished ideas into completed manuscripts. The book also explores themes of visibility, authority, legacy, creativity, and personal growth, while helping aspiring authors navigate fear, perfectionism, and self-doubt.

As part of the launch, readers who order the book will also receive a complimentary digital copy of The Expectant Author Workbook, a companion guide filled with exercises, prompts, and worksheets designed to help readers organize and develop their own book ideas.

Richards Mooney, President of Redhead Marketing, Inc. and Author of several books, has spent decades helping entrepreneurs, business owners, authors, and thought leaders increase their visibility and share their expertise with the world. Her work has appeared in Brainz Magazine, Thrive Global, Women on Business, Medium, and numerous business and trade publications internationally.

The Expectant Author is available in Kindle and print editions on Amazon. Visit here for more information, launch updates, and bonus resources.
