Michael is a peak performance and leadership expert, a best-selling author, a gifted speaker, an intuitive coach, and a professional musician. He has an innate ability to unlock the potential in others. His process is powerful, having transformed his own life from being exhausted, overweight and stuck, to where he is now thriving. Taking a common-sense approach, he effectively motivates, influences, and guides companies and their teams to work in a “collective flow.”

Michael Doyle, Peak Performance and Leadership Expert, Author, Intuitive Coach

Please, tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

My path has largely been about people, potential, and possibility. Over the past 25 years, I’ve lived and worked in Canada’s Arctic, the private sector, government, and as an entrepreneur. Each step has given me a deeper understanding of how people and organizations grow, what holds them back, and what helps them thrive.

From serving as a Financial Analyst with Aboriginal Affairs & Northern Development to founding Doyle It In, my focus has been consistent, helping leaders and teams find clarity, build confidence, and create sustainable impact. Along the way, I’ve written books, coached leaders across industries, and stood alongside Inuit and Northern communities as a trusted partner in housing, food security, and capacity building initiatives. As a consultant, author, speaker, and Intuitive coach my books, workshops, and programs are designed to unlock the infinite potential that is waiting to be activated inside of you and your teams.

This journey has shaped not only how I work, but why I work, to unlock human potential, create flow in organizations, and help leaders and teams rise with clarity and purpose.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

Anytime we make a big change in life, it is always sparked by a moment of clarity. On April 24, 2010, I woke up feeling tired, hungover and depressed. I had played a show the night before and I couldn’t even remember playing the third set. You see with my binge drinking at the time, more pieces of my night would be missing. Often bits and pieces of my night would come into my awareness while moving through my hangover the next day.

I clearly recall sitting on the floor playing with my son Timothy who was 14 months old at the time. I felt I didn’t have the energy or attention span to give him that he deserved, and I felt guilty. I thought about what kind of a role model I would be for Timothy if I kept steering the path I was on. It was in that moment looking back, I surrendered the struggle on a deeper level. I asked for help from a higher power, and I got that help. I didn’t realize how impactful this moment would be in changing my trajectory in life and the positive ripples I’d be creating in the world as a result of this quantum shift.

It was this pivotal moment that proved to be the catalyst that sparked me writing my first book, “At The Helm,” and getting into human potential and peak performance.

What inspired you to start Doyle It In Inc. and what is the primary goal or mission?

When people ask why I started consulting and coaching, the truth is, I didn’t choose it, it chose me. At every stage of my life, I was being called into this role, even before I could see it clearly. Looking back, I realize that what guided me was an inner journey of clarity, healing, and growth. That pursuit of self-mastery sparked a lifelong fascination with human potential and what allows both individuals and organizations to perform at their peak.

At Doyle It In, consulting isn’t just about fixing problems. It’s about helping leaders and teams create lasting clarity, flow, and momentum. We dig beneath the surface to uncover the patterns and possibilities others often miss, and we help organizations unlock the systems and shifts they didn’t even know they needed.

Our approach is rooted in meeting people exactly where they are and guiding them toward where they want to be. Whether it’s:

  • Supporting leaders who feel tied to the day-to-day by building clarity, systems, and trusted operational structures.

  • Guiding founders to grow their businesses without sacrificing balance, energy, or well-being.

  • Aligning government departments by strengthening communication, collaboration, productivity, and focus on shared outcomes.

  • Helping team members build capacity, strategies, and tools for long-term impact.

  • Empowering coaches, creatives, and changemakers to reconnect with their deeper purpose and create aligned momentum.

Clients often describe our work as grounding, clarifying, and transformational, and that’s exactly what we aim to deliver.

What sets your coaching and consulting apart from similar businesses in the industry?

Doyle It In isn’t your typical consulting firm, we’re built on the belief that real growth comes from alignment, clarity, and flow, not from burning out or running harder on the same wheel. What makes us different is the DNA that runs through everything we do, a deep commitment to unlocking human potential and helping organizations grow sustainably while staying true to their purpose.

Instead of quick fixes or cookie-cutter strategies, we partner with entrepreneurs, leaders, and purpose-driven organizations to co-create lasting solutions. Our approach blends strategic planning, leadership development, and team dynamics into a framework that is both practical and transformative. We help leaders share responsibility through clear structures, create focus in their vision and goals, identify bottlenecks that slow growth, and reconnect with the deeper “why” behind their work.

At Doyle It In, we don’t just help you scale, we help you scale with integrity. You don’t need 80-hour weeks or chaotic expansion to succeed. We show you how to build systems that work, cultivate leadership teams that carry the load with you, and step into a way of leading that feels lighter, clearer, and more sustainable.

That’s the heart of Doyle It In, creating momentum that lasts because it’s aligned with who you are and where you want to go.

In what ways do you envision Doyle It In Inc. evolving or expanding in the future?

Just as our lives move through cycles, spirals, and chapters, so do our businesses. Each new chapter calls for greater clarity, deeper leadership, and a willingness to expand into what’s next. For me, this phase is about elevating Doyle It In onto the global stage, bringing together my consulting, coaching, books, music, and programs in a way that reaches and impacts people far beyond Canada’s Arctic.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is watching my signature program, The Five Pillars to Sustainable Change, begin to ripple out through other facilitators around the world. It was always designed to be bigger than me, and seeing it foster both personal and professional growth is both humbling and inspiring.

At the same time, my heart and focus remain with Nunavut, where I’ve dedicated more than 25 years to working alongside communities. My current vision is to ensure the Five Pillars program is fully expanded throughout the territory, supporting leaders, organizations, and government departments to build clarity, capacity, and sustainable impact.

Once that foundation is in place, my next chapter is to take these frameworks global empowering individuals and organizations everywhere to align with purpose, step into flow, and create momentum that lasts.

It’s an exciting time at Doyle It In, and the best chapters are still to come.
