Bita Safari, Founder and CEO of GIGO Clean, is passionate about transforming the cleaning industry. Her journey began with the creation of Simply Crystal Clean, where she discovered firsthand the significant impact that a clean environment can have on people’s lives.

“Science has proven that having a clean environment directly affects mental health"

After the success of her first business, Safari set out to make cleaning services more accessible by launching a revolutionary app—GIGO Clean. This groundbreaking platform connects consumers with cleaners in their area by zip code, eliminating the need for intermediaries.

“It’s going to revolutionize the cleaning industry. Right now, when someone needs house cleaning, they have limited options. They search on Google, find companies by address, then make calls to compare prices and schedule appointments. This app simplifies everything,” says Safari.

GIGO Clean allows consumers to schedule cleanings at their convenience with highly trained, local cleaning crews. The app is free to download, with no membership or commitment required. Safari’s idea for GIGO Clean was born out of her own frustration when trying to arrange cleaning services for her home.

“When I couldn’t find reliable cleaning services for my own house, I realized I needed to understand the industry better. That experience taught me about the challenges, cleaning methods, and the lack of proper supervision”

According to Safari, GIGO Clean not only benefits consumers but also empowers cleaners by offering them the flexibility to set their own schedules.

“Cleaners can work when they want, rather than being tied to the schedules set by cleaning companies. This gives them time for school, family, and other commitments, while also earning a higher hourly income,” explains Safari.

Safari, a successful entrepreneur, comes from humble beginnings. She and her family emigrated from war-torn Iran during the revolution, and today she’s living the American dream.

“I see the GIGO Clean app as a personal achievement. It started as a simple idea, and now it’s available for everyone to download”

The future for GIGO Clean looks promising. Currently, the app is operational in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, with plans to expand to San Diego and San Francisco. Within the next five years, Safari expects GIGO Clean to be available nationwide.
