From the French Alps to Global Healing – Exclusive Interview With Jean-Marc Degioanni

Raised in a small village in the French Alps, Jean-Marc grew up surrounded by mountains, the quiet wisdom of nature, and the storytelling traditions of his elders. Overcoming childhood challenges with psoriasis, rheumatism, and stammering, he vowed never to allow chemicals into his body and to trust in its natural ability to heal. It is a promise he still honours today.

Following in his father's footsteps, Jean-Marc became a Master Builder. He built a lasting legacy in France before moving to England, where he ran a thriving six-figure interior design and construction business. When hyperelectrosensitivity (EMR sensitivity) threatened his health, he refused to accept defeat. Drawing on meditation, naturopathy, and energy healing, he not only conquered the effects of EMR sensitivity but turned it into his life's purpose.

In 2012, Jean-Marc founded Infinity Alignment Ltd, followed by the establishment of the School of Infinity Alignment Therapy in 2016. In 2023, he launched EMR Sensitivity Ltd, a venture dedicated to empowering people living with EMR sensitivity to reclaim their health, confidence, and quality of life, alongside his daughter. Their flagship innovation, the scientifically validated Areca Plus Card™, offers natural support for EMR-sensitive individuals and animals worldwide, as certified by the BION Institute.

Today, Jean-Marc continues to live in harmony with nature, embracing passions such as skiing, forest walks, meditation, and QiGong, while cherishing time with his family and his Labrador, Chenin. His story is one of resilience, intuition, and transformation.

Jean-Marc Degioanni, EMR Sensitivity Specialist

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them. – Dalai Lama

What inspired you to start your business focused on EMR sensitivity?

"Your body doesn't lie"

While advancements in technology can bring benefits, not all innovations are harmless or even thoroughly researched. Many people continue to experience adverse effects from EMR exposure, yet their experiences are often dismissed or misunderstood. The truth is, our modern conveniences, such as Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and smart devices, come with an invisible cost: constant exposure to electromagnetic fields.

In our hyperconnected world, these technologies make life easier, but they often fail to meet the needs of individuals who are sensitive to EMR. Through my struggle with electrosensitivity, I learned to trust my body's signals and honour my lived experience, even when it went against conventional advice. That journey built my confidence, deepened my resilience, and revealed a calling: to create solutions and share knowledge so that others with EMR sensitivity can feel acknowledged, supported, and empowered.

Can you explain the primary challenges people with EMR sensitivity face in their daily lives?

Living with EMR sensitivity means navigating a world that is constantly "switched on." For many, even simple daily activities, such as working in an office, shopping in a store with strong Wi-Fi, or travelling on public transport, can trigger debilitating symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, or cognitive difficulties.

The challenge is twofold: the physical impact of constant exposure, and the emotional toll of not being believed or understood. Because EMR sensitivity is often invisible, people may feel isolated, dismissed, or ridiculed when they attempt to explain their symptoms. Social gatherings, work commitments, and travel plans usually require careful management or avoidance altogether.

For me, the most significant challenge, and the most incredible opportunity, is helping people rebuild confidence in their own body's signals. By making informed choices, adjusting their environments, and having access to supportive tools like the Areca Plus Card™, those with EMR sensitivity can reclaim a sense of control, enjoy greater well-being, and live more fully despite the challenges.

What steps can individuals take to reduce their exposure to EMR practically and sustainably?

"The highest activity a human being can attain is learning for understanding, because to understand is to be free." – Spinoza

The first step is education and awareness, understanding where and how EMR exposure occurs in your daily life. Once you know the primary sources of the stressor, you can take simple, sustainable steps to reduce them without feeling like you have to disconnect from the modern world.

Some practical measures include:

  1. Limiting device use when not necessary and switching devices to airplane mode when possible.

  2. Creating EMR-free zones in your home, especially in the bedroom, to support deeper rest and recovery.

  3. Use wired connections instead of Wi-Fi where feasible.

  4. Keeping devices at a distance from your body rather than in pockets or close contact.

Beyond these, it's about listening to your body and making adjustments that work for your lifestyle. Tools like the Areca Plus Card™, developed by EMR Sensitivity Ltd, can provide additional natural support for those who are more sensitive to EMR. The goal is not to live in fear of technology, but to use it mindfully, in a way that prioritises long-term well-being.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

"The innovation point is the pivotal moment when talented and motivated people seek the opportunity to act on their ideas and dreams." - W. Arthur Porter

One of the most defining moments of my life came at the height of my career in England. I had built a thriving business and was proud of what I had achieved, until hyperelectrosensitivity struck and my world changed overnight.

Simple tasks became exhausting. The very environment in which I had worked every day suddenly began to take a toll on my health. Doctors had no answers, and friends and colleagues struggled to understand.

I realised I had a choice: accept the decline or trust my intuition and search for a remedy. Through meditation, naturopathy, and energy work, I slowly rebuilt my health.

What began as a personal fight for survival transformed into a mission to help others. Out of that journey, the Areca Plus Card™ was born, an innovation designed to bring balance, energy, and renewed vitality to those who need it most.

"Ignorance of EMR's mystery is not the actual danger.

The danger is to remain in the shadow of fear.

To know is to be free,

to see beyond illusion,

to walk the path of harmony,

where even the currents of unseen radiation

become teachers of balance,

guiding us toward health, joy, and eternal light."
