Dotrell McNeal is your favorite Confidence Coach & Mindset Mentor, and founder of Your Confidence Matters. As an entrepreneur that's passionate about personal growth Dotrell has been on a mission to empower individuals to unleash their inner potential while gaining Clarity Confidence & Courage. She's been on podcasts, and summits sharing her experiences to help shape others on their journey. The experiences that Dotrell has had definitely shaped her to be where she's at today, so that she can continue her mission of helping entrepreneurs become more self-confident. Dotrell's journey hasn't always been easy. She definitely encountered challenges, setbacks and learned lessons along the way. One of her biggest lessons learned is, mindset is key to it all. Once she began shifting the language of her mind things began to change. Dotrell changed up how she spoke to her self, the thoughts she was thinking and letting go of what others thought of her. It wasn't an overnight change but Dotrell put in the work to have that change. In my down time I love being by the water, it's so calming and soothing for me. I love to write poetry, I love beauty and fashion, traveling new places and experiencing new foods and culture. I also love to color. I do that to ease my mind.

I'm passionate about helping others become who they were created to be it brings me joy to know that I played a part in the transformation.

What inspired you to create Your Confidence Matters?

The inspiration that came about for creating Your Confidence Matters came from me discovering that my Confidence mattered. I was in the process of creating and launching my very first business which was a hair extension company. Creating that business I was dealing with so many feelings and emotions of becoming an entrepreneur. I was feeling scared, nervous, anxious, having self-doubt seeking external validation, all of that. Until one day I decided that enough was enough. I had a mindset shift and within that mindset shift is where I discovered that's where my confidence is, and I've been shifting ever since. With that the shift the birth of Your Confidence Matters came a year later after analyzing all that I went through with creating business number 1. I knew that there were other entrepreneurs, new entrepreneurs out there feeling the same way I did, not feeling so confident, second guessing themselves, afraid to step out of their comfort zone. So I took a step of faith into the coaching industry, took some classes and received some certifications in NLP, Time Techniques, EFT, Clinical Hypnotherapist and launched Your Confidence Matters. Your confidence matters provide tools and resources for women & entrepreneurs to Unleash their inner/true potential while gaining Clarity Confidence & Courage. We are here to help our clients understand the language of their mind while letting go of limiting beliefs, knowing they have everything they inside of them to become confidently YOU.

How did you begin stepping outside of your comfort zone?

I went to a model casting call. I've always had an interest fashion and I use to love the show America's Next Top Model, and I would see those girls on there and I wanted to do that. So I was on Facebook one Sunday and a flyer came across my feed and it was for a model casting call of all sizes. I thought to myself this is myself this is my shot. My sister took me and even though I didn't get picked I was so proud of myself for doing it scared. I made some amazing connections at that casting call, and that's how it started and I've been stepping out of that comfort zone ever since.

Could you share insight into your content creation strategy? How do you ensure that the information and resources provided on your site remain relevant valuable to your audience over time?

Well what I do is, I go through my content and check to see how well it's performing, and if it performed well I'll remix that content and add a little more to it. ( with new content). I love doing Q&As and Surveys with my audience. I do research to see what my audience looking for and what questions they are asking to get help with their pain points. That way I make sure that the website is up to date and current to what's relevant.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far?

My greatest career achievement is launching my first book. Titled "Insecure Incapable & Incomplete 3 Essential Keys To Unleash Your Inner Potential Through Transformational Thinking". This book is about finding and having a transformative journey of self-discovery for a life of growth, purpose and fulfillment. My book is available on Amazon.

What are your future plans for Your Confidence Matters? Are there any upcoming features, events, or expansions you'd like to share with your audience?

Future plans: well, we are looking into launching a Podcast in 2024, so that's exciting, and we are looking to do some speaking engagements to continue to spread knowledge, build confidence, and be a part of the transformation.
