We are so excited to get to interview the incredible Wendy – Founder and owner of ‘Wendy’s Heavenly Guidance’. Wendy is one of those hidden gems, she’s like a gift from God to us all. She just plainly and simply wants to help as many people as possible, help them to find peace, clarity and help them to connect and receive the spiritual support and guidance that’s available to us all, so, Wendy, thank you for being here, what an honour it is!

So, firstly, tell us what led you to do what you’re doing today?

It was probably when I first became ill. Just before had to stop working, due to health reasons. I was guided to go back to the spiritualist church and guided back onto my spiritual path. As things unfolded, I realised why I was drawn back. Even though I had dipped in and out of my spiritual path several times over my life, Sometimes, spirit has to give you that nudge to get you back on track. And I'm not the only one. I'm sure there's other people out there that have been affected by health issues, and it's made them turn to more than just the human side of life.

We know that there's more out there, and we can get help from other people and other sources. And it's not just all about going to the doctor. We can help ourselves. So, when I went on my self-healing path to help me, I then realised, well, if I can help me heal and try and recover from this, then I can help others.

What would you say makes you unique in what you do?

A lot of people have told me that I've got a very calm manner and I help them relax. When they come into my office, they feel calm and like they are allowed to open up and be who they want to be. I've had people open up after they've had their reading and tell me things about their life they've maybe never shared with anyone else, because I've got that element of trust, and I understand them on a different level.

Why do you do what you do?

I am doing this work to help as many people as I can. Because there is so much hurt and pain in the world. There's a lot of people who don't know who to turn to, where to go for help or advice, or get that guidance they need. Because I can connect in with the angels and spirit, I can help give them that guidance, I can help give them that support and help them understand that they're not on their own. That they do have other people by their side, whether they see them or not.

Do you feel that this work is your life’s purpose? 

I feel my purpose is to help. It's to serve spirit, to help people connect, to help people know that there's more to life than what they see, hear, and feel. We live in a very materialistic world, but it's not all about what we have, it's about what we can do, what we can offer, the care, compassion, and support you can get from others. A lot of people are fully absorbed by digital media. They're spending too much time on their phones. They need to reconnect in with nature. Get back and living in the moment and appreciate life for what it truly is.

So what would you say your next goal or project would be, Wendy?

I am always developing my own skills. The more I expand on my knowledge and journey, the more I can bring to the people who come to see me, the more I can help them heal, the more I can help them progress, and the more I can help them see where they're meant to be going. I have recently released my first online course to help people to read oracle cards, which helps people to improve their connection with their own intuition and their own guidance. I plan to create and release more courses as I want to be able to share what I know and make it available to anyone who wants to learn. 

Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

That's a big question. In 10 years! According to a divine guidance session that I had, I will be speaking to lots of people in public places helping them to realise their true potential, and helping them move forward in an even bigger and better way.

Is there a core value that you are most passionate about?

I believe in truth, honesty and integrity. I try my utmost best to be truthful and honest at all times and I hope people are truthful and honest with me. When people come to me for a reading. If I get something and they're not understanding, I won't change it to make it fit with what they feel it might be. If it doesn't sit right, I will say that's not right. I don't change things. I stick with what I feel, and I trust that I'm giving the true guidance that they need.

And are there any additional qualities that contribute to your success, Wendy?

I've had to be very adaptable in life. I have an autistic daughter who needs a lot of my time and support. So, I'm well adjusted to people who have a lot of other commitments rather than just their healing journey. They’ve got to help their family and they've got to help support others in their life. I think we're all here to learn big lessons. Bringing the lessons forward, and helping people understand why they are repeating cycles, helping them break that cycle, helping them move forward.

What inspired you to create your business?

I was guided from spirit. They kept saying to me ‘will you just go do it. Get out there and help people’. I still feel a little bit of doubt sometimes. Who doesn't when we start anything. Will this be successful? Will my business reach everybody it needs to reach? Everything I've done up till now has been totally organic. Those who come to me do so by their own choice. I trust that the right people will come.

What kind of audience do you target?

I don't really target anyone. People get guided to me.

So what services do you offer at the moment in your business?

I currently offer mediumship readings, angel card readings, or a combination of both. I offer Reiki healing, Belief coding, Divine Guidance Energy Alignment, Quantum Flame healing and Going beyond the Veil sessions. 

Tell us a bit about the mediumship readings. What does that entail, and what happens?

Mediumship readings are when I connect in with spirit and bring forward the love, comfort, and support from those who have been part of your family or friends circle. It can be anyone that's been part of your life that comes forward. If they have anything to share with you and any knowledge they want to pass on. How I connect in with them is through feeling, and they impress things upon me to share.

Tell us about belief coding, what is that?

Belief coding helps people overcome past hurts. It helps them to rebalance their emotions and move forward from things that are holding them back. It helps them to know that they are enough and that they are loved and cared for. Sometimes situations they've been through in life cause them hurt. They no longer have to carry that hurt with them, they can release it and move on.

And I know first hand how impactful these sessions can be! Can you share a bit about Going beyond the Veil? 

Going Beyond the Veil is a guided meditation where I guide you to meet your spirit guides. You can ask questions and receive guidance and clarity. You can connect with crossed-over loved ones and angels who can share messages with you and help you on your path. These sessions are also good to receive any healing and activations you want. 

Yes, these are again super powerful sessions – I know I’ve had some insane Going Beyond the Veil sessions in the past. And what about Quantum Flame Healing, what is this?

Quantum Flame Healing is described as Reiki on steroids. It's tapping into the quantum energy field and bringing through healing from there. To amplify and speed up the healing required. There are certain symbols that can be used for different emotions to help heal and help the release of any energy that's stuck in people.

Sounds insane Wendy! And finally, can you share a bit about your Divine Guidance sessions?

Divine Guidance is like a guided meditation, but you're approaching it from a place of joy. You're helping yourself connect with your inner child and your future self. To get you to where you need to be. To help you understand that there's not just one version of you, there's the past you and the future you. And if you all work together in harmony it shows you that you're limitless. You don't have to just stay in your box or the lane you're in. You can aim for higher, change your desires, and move past things you thought you couldn't do.

Wow. Amazing – thank you so much for sharing that! So how can people book these sessions with you? What’s the criteria for working with you? 

Yes, people can book in with me through my website. It is recommended that clients are at least 18 years old. I don’t offer fortune-telling services; my readings are for guidance and support. My diary is available online and you can book all of my services on there.

Do you get booked up a lot in advance?

My Saturday appointments tend to go quickly, I try to have space in my diary for last-minute appointments.

When you're working with your clients, Wendy, is there a common challenge or issue that they come to you with?

I'd probably say about 70% of people feel stuck or they're feeling lost, or lacking a sense of direction. Maybe they’re at a crossroads and don't know which way to go and they're looking for that guidance and support. If they're feeling lost and alone and not sure where to turn, sometimes they just need to know that they aren't alone and that we all have our guardian angels to help and support us, we just need to ask them for help. A lot of people don't know that they can do that. Angels and spirit can't intervene unless we ask them because we have free will.

What is the most rewarding kind of session for you, Wendy?

Knowing that I've made a difference, knowing that I've helped the person who has come to see me. Seeing that shift in their energy. They are coming into my office, and they feel very low, and they'll go out feeling like a weight's lifted off their shoulders. Seeing them smile. Seeing that they feel better within themselves. It's worth it just to help people find their way.

How does it feel for you when you connect people with crossed-over loved ones?

It really brings a lot of peace to them when people who have passed away come forward to reconnect and share memories. It can get quite emotional sometimes, when people that have crossed over come through with so much love, and because I can feel that emotion, I feel it within me. That's why I have a box of tissues on the table, because it's not just my client who could be crying, it'll be me joining in because the feeling of that love can be so strong. It's like they're physically there. I'm often guided to give my clients a hug from them, and I always ask my client’s permission to do so. Sometimes they just need that as well, to know that their loved one is still there, that they haven't totally lost them, they just can't physically see them anymore. Their physical shell is gone, but their spirit lives on.

Can you share any success stories from any clients that you've worked with?

I have lots of positive reviews from people saying that I've really helped them. It’s nice to know that they know that I'm 100% genuine when the things that come through resonate and other signs piece together because I know there's a lot of fraudulent people out there. One recent piece of feedback was a Divine Guidance Energy Alignment Session and within hours of the session, something big shifted which was what they were needing to come into their life and it happened. Another example from this week was a lady wanting clarity on a job and I was guided to tell her she’d have the answer by Friday, and she did. 

If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be?

To guide people to do their due diligence. To actually look into people first before they book. To check that the reviews that they have received are from genuine people. There’s a lot of people who buy reviews and likes.

And finally, what are some common misconceptions about your industry?

Probably that we're all witches. I don't consider myself to be a witch. Another is that we're all fake. We get a lot of this. That we shouldn’t charge for our gift or we are trying to con people out of money. Another misconception is that it's entertainment. I don't consider what I do to be entertainment. When you're coming from a spiritual angle, you just want to be able to help, support and care for people, but naturally there needs to be an energy exchange as we all need money to live. I try to keep my prices as affordable as possible so they’re as accessible to as many people as possible.
