It's painful not having a home. It forces you to face yourself. It forces you to notice where it hurts. It forces you to see the what-ifs in your mind and feel all the self-doubt. But there is no turning back. You're going another way, with unknowns that seem so scary.

Trust and perseverance are the choices you are left with.

Or wallowing in despair forever and ever, but no, that's not for you!

There are gifts in these dark moments. There are gems that couldn't be accessed without the experiences that take us into the valleys. Magic to be awakened.

When we think of someone not having a home, the first image that comes to mind is a homeless person on the corner out begging – right? It might seem like an issue that is far away from you.

When you choose to create a lifestyle that is aligned with your Soul, what will You need to let go of?

Not having a home can be literally not having a place to live, be, operate out of. This is undoubtably painful, and I have personally experienced it.

It can mean you have lost 'home' in another sense. Perhaps a childhood home was sold or destroyed. It could be in a physical sense, like a physical place that has changed or is no longer.

It can also mean when the old and familiar simply won't work for you anymore. When you are met with a familiar problem or situation, and you have a reference point for how to handle it, but the circumstances have changed and now those old ways are totally obsolete for what you need.

Losing home could look like the familiar faces and friends and hugs that once held you to comfort you as you found yourself in unknown territory, and now those people are no longer able to walk with you on your journey, no longer able to support you and uphold your values. Perhaps their journeys don't line up with yours, and their support is no longer actually supportive, or even there at all.

You lose 'home' when you find yourself alone with your values and passions and interests and not much else.

This is the unglamorous part of creating your own Soul-Led lifestyle. This is the part not everyone talks about. This is the discomfort before you build anew.

When you make the decision to live from your Soul–Life makes room.

Relationships shift. Places shift. Familiar routines shift or simply won't cut it anymore. Things that felt tolerable for perhaps your whole life, may suddenly not feel tolerable for even a moment.

Is it inconvenient? YES! Could it hurt? YES, it could! Does this discomfort and self-doubt last forever – It sure doesn’t have to!

If you are finding yourself alone, feeling without a home, here are some tips to start building your new, stronger, more aligned, beautiful foundation.

Notice What you Want

  • As you go about your day, notice all the ways that what you would like to experience is showing up.

  • Notice this in all the areas of your life

o Where is it showing up in your finances?

o In your relationships?

o In your experiences?

o Where is it showing up in physical items or needs met?

  • Even if it seems TINY compared to what you need/want, notice it, and thank it!

  • Notice the beauty in your experience just as it is.

Write it Down!

  • Grab a journal or notebook, paper, whatever you have. Write down what you notice.

  • Write a love note to the things you notice, or to the Universe/Source/Spirit/God/The Divine, whichever language you prefer – thanking and loving on it for bringing these things and experiences to you.

  • Do this every day or every time you think of it. If you miss a day or days, just get back to it when you remember.

  • Be aware that your mind may play tricks on you during this process.

Give Yourself some GRACE

  • Some days are gonna feel shitty and that is okay.

  • Feel your feelings – They are pointing to what needs to be felt, healed, and released.

  • Remind yourself that you are paving a new way, and you're doing a great job.

Call It In!

  • Arms outstretched to the sky, call in what you want/need.

  • Call it in, knowing that it's coming, trusting in the timing, and feeling grateful.

  • When you are done, bring your hands to your heart center and say, 'Thank you Thank you Thank you, and So it Is!'

  • Simply notice the small and big ways it begins to show up.

  • Repeat and continue noticing and thanking and writing down and loving on it.

  • Act on the ideas, inspiration and intuitive hits that come through, pointing you in the right direction.

Remember

  • You are WORTHY of these changes and SO MUCH MORE!

  • Your Divine Gifts are finding their way to the surface through YOU, and YOU are NEEDED in this WORLD.

  • You may feel alone in the world temporarily but KNOW that you are ALWAYS surrounded by loving Beings who are in their Divine purpose by supporting YOU.

  • Home is within you.

  • You are LOVED.

Before you know it, the new that has started flowing in, will feel like home.

So much love to you.
