Kristin Weaver, Personal Development/ Life Coach

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

My name is Kristin Weaver, a 43 yr old Personal Development/ Life Coach. I am a mother to 2 gorgeous boys and a kick ass wife to NFL Defensive Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins, Coach Anthony Weaver. Needless to say my husband’s career has lead us down a pretty unique path. I have used the diverse relocations to build connections with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

Can you describe the specific outcomes or transformations your clients typically experience through your coaching programs?

I aim to dismantle clients’ limiting beliefs, empowering them to achieve the fulfilling and joyful life they truly deserve. Their most authentic smile filled version. From my many years as an NFL coach’s wife, I’ve learned that even the loneliest moments can be transformed by someone checking in, offering both accountability and celebration.

How do you tailor your coaching programs to meet the unique needs of each client, and what initial steps do you take to understand those needs?

I am fortunate to have a lifestyle that enables me to serve a diverse range of clients. I decided not to pigeon hole myself with a small niche. I did make an attempt to do that at the beginning of my Life Coaching career but felt like I was trapped in a box. It didn’t feel right to turn away anyone who needed my support. The unique individuals who join my program vary from young women seeking direction after college, to CEOs in their 50s who excel at work but seek confidence at home with their spouses. I feel honored to be trusted with such intimate details of these individual’s lives.

What sets Dream By Weaver LLC apart from other life coaching services.

Something that specifically sets Dream By Weaver LLC apart from other coaching services is the extra care and time I dedicate to each client. I limit the amount of full-time clients I have at once so that personal attention can be held to the highest standard. My 3-month program includes unlimited text/ emails throughout the week. I take pride in always being there when my clients need support. Even if that means helping them choose an outfit for an award ceremony, haha.

How has your personal experience, such as your time supporting your husband’s NFL career and managing multiple relocations, influenced your coaching philosophy and approach?

I was extremely fortunate to meet the love of my life in 2008. Then, defensive lineman for the Houston Texans, Anthony Weaver. I had already achieved great success in my businesses as a single woman. The year he retired from playing and decided to coach in the NFL, we moved to New Jersey to join the New York Jets. I was 8 months pregnant with our first child, (Anthony Leo Weaver Jr). Fast forward to 5 moves in 4 years and another baby on the way, (Justus Tagaloa Weaver). I didn't realize that slowly I was losing my identity turning into "Coach Weaver's Wife/ AJ and Justus' mom." I had to find my shine again. While everyone who worked at Target knew my name "haha" I felt like I was becoming lost in the shadows. I began my yoga journey and began Zentastic Yoga LLC. This jumpstarted my voyage on getting my confidence back. Getting into my daily workout routine and diet regiment really gave me the clarity I needed to figure out what I truly wanted to do in life. Help others learn how to get their shine back!

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

Just when I thought I was on top of my Life Coaching career, personal life threw my family quite a curveball. While we are a resilient bunch having gone through lots of trials and tribulations, this specific last year has been the most traumatic I have ever gone through as a mother. Something very personal took place that I actually asked permission from my 12 year old son to discuss. It brings tears to my eyes even writing that simple sentence. Starting his 6th grade classes he developed debilitating anxiety. I mean debilitating in every sense of the word. His legs would shake uncontrollably not allowing him to walk into the school he had loved so much. Tears would not stop streaming down his innocent face. He couldn’t force himself on the basketball court with his long time buddies he adored. I slept on his floor ever night for almost 3 months because he was afraid to fall asleep and feel “sick”. This moment in life lead me to taking clients outside of his class in my car via zoom so he would know I was next to him. In those days I sat in my car talking to clients who needed my support, as he tried to complete a class, I realized I was meant to be doing exactly what I am doing in this world. I was more sleep-deprived and stressed than I ever thought possible. I could have easily given up. We didn’t need the income. The lives I have impacted and people I never gave up on during my darkest days makes me even more grateful. Days like today feel sunnier and more joyful than ever before. Dad is a successful NFL Coach and mom a thriving Life Coach yet we could not help our own child. What a humbling and challenging journey it has been. I am thrilled to say, after our big move to Florida, he persevered and is crushing it! Bless our baby boy’s heart, he has overcome! I am not saying there wont be more bumps in the road of life for him but for now. We are celebrating these wins. This pivotal moment helped form me into the Life Coach I am today. My next Brainz article will be on How to Persevere When Supporting Your Child With Anxiety. Stay tuned.
