The firm specializes in PQC, providing a spectrum of services, including vulnerability assessments, cryptographic system design, and consultancy for organizations eager to strengthen their security measures in anticipation of quantum computing advancements. Emphasizing resilience and innovation, the firm is poised to lead the charge in the cybersecurity industry.

David K. Firnhaber, PhD, brings an impressive array of expertise to his new venture. His dissertation, titled Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC): Constructive Research in Quantum Simulations, explored various quantum computers and their qubit growth rates. Firnhaber's research published an insightful prediction on how many qubits are needed to crack modern RSA-2048 encryption, estimating the timeline for quantum computers to reach 1 million qubits—while noting that more than 1 million qubits might be necessary due to quantum gate complexity. He also delved into NIST's quantum-safe algorithms, such as Kyber CRYSTALS. Firnhaber's ultimate goal is to steer organizations toward the right solutions for their PQC concerns.

Currently, David K. Firnhaber, PhD, is also pursuing a second PhD in Cybersecurity, specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance. In addition to his consulting work, he serves as a professor at Ivy Tech Community College's School of IT in Lake County, Indiana. His vast knowledge and unwavering commitment to excellence make this consulting firm an invaluable ally for organizations preparing for the quantum horizon.
