The signing of actress Dareen Haddad as brand ambassador for WeValue AI has drawn attention across both the media and property technology scenes, a partnership that brings star power into one of the region’s fastest-growing sectors, AI-powered real estate valuation. To understand the thinking behind the move, the magazine sat down with Mohamed Ahmed Fouad Amin, a Dubai-based real estate valuation and advisory expert, author, and founder of WeValue and the WeValue AI app, for a wide-ranging conversation about the partnership, the app, and the future of smart valuation in the region.

Let’s start with the obvious question, "Why does an app specializing in AI-powered real estate valuation need a brand ambassador from the world of entertainment?"
It’s a fair question, and one I welcome. Technology, no matter how precise or advanced, still needs a human face to bring it closer to people. We offer a sophisticated technical product, but our audience is not limited to experts, analysts, and institutions. It also includes the individual investor, the first-time buyer, and the everyday property owner who simply wants to understand the value of their asset with ease and transparency.
For that audience, an influential and trusted media personality shortens the distance between the technology and the public. She gives the brand warmth, familiarity, and credibility. In markets like ours, where real estate decisions are deeply personal and often the largest financial decisions of a person’s life, trust is everything.
Why Dareen Haddad specifically? There is no shortage of well-known names in the region.
Because in her we found the ideal personality to represent WeValue AI, and I say that with full conviction. Her elegant presence and refined, modern image reflect the app’s identity and its ambitions. We were not simply looking for a famous name to attach to a campaign. That approach rarely works, and audiences see through it quickly.
We were looking for a personality whose values, public image, and way of engaging with people genuinely align with what we deliver, quality, credibility, and a contemporary outlook. There is another dimension as well. Her selection is in harmony with the caliber of our sponsors and partners, prestigious, high-end brands of distinguished standing. We are always keen to ensure that every partnership we enter reflects the level of quality, innovation, and value that WeValue AI delivers. Consistency of image matters enormously when you are building a brand meant to last.
What role will Dareen Haddad play in practical terms under this partnership?
Her role goes well beyond appearing in a single advertisement. Under the agreement, she will take part in our advertising campaigns, media activities, and the events connected to the app, launches, industry gatherings, and public-facing initiatives. She will also play a part in promoting WeValue AI’s services and, more broadly, in advancing the concept of smart real estate valuation itself. Part of our mission is educational, helping the public understand that property valuation can be fast, transparent, and data-driven rather than opaque and inaccessible. A voice like hers helps carry that message much further than we could carry it alone.
How did she respond to the idea of representing a real estate technology app? It is quite different from her usual world.
With genuine enthusiasm, honestly, and that mattered to us. She expressed her delight at the partnership and described representing an app that leverages artificial intelligence to advance real estate services as a new and distinctive experience for her, particularly given the rapid growth the PropTech sector is witnessing both regionally and globally. What impressed me was her curiosity. She asked real questions about how the technology works and what it means for ordinary users. That tells you she intends to represent the brand with understanding, not just with her image.
Setting the partnership aside for a moment, what does WeValue AI actually offer the user?
At its core, WeValue AI delivers innovative solutions in property valuation and market data analysis powered by artificial intelligence. It enables individuals, investors, and professionals to understand real estate value and make well-considered, data-driven decisions with greater ease and transparency than traditional processes allow.
Instead of waiting days for an opinion of value, or relying on fragmented listings and guesswork, users gain access to structured, intelligent analysis. But what truly sets us apart is that we are not merely a technology company. Behind the app stands the expertise of a licensed real estate valuation practice with years of real market experience, actual valuations, actual advisory work, and actual accountability.
That combination of regulated professional practice and advanced technology gives our outputs a credibility that pure-tech players find very difficult to match. The algorithm is only as trustworthy as the expertise behind it.
You come from the traditional valuation world yourself. What convinced you that this industry needed an AI-powered solution?
Years of watching the same frictions repeat themselves. Valuation, as practiced traditionally, is rigorous but slow and often inaccessible to the very people who need it most. I have spent my career in this field in Dubai and across regional markets, in development advisory, portfolio work, and formal valuation, and I saw a persistent gap between the quality of insight available to large institutions and what an individual investor could access. Artificial intelligence closes that gap. It does not replace professional judgment, it scales it. That is the philosophy WeValue AI is built on, professional-grade valuation intelligence made accessible.
Is this partnership part of a broader expansion strategy?
Absolutely. Our agreement with Dareen Haddad comes as part of an integrated strategy to strengthen the app’s presence and expand across the region’s markets. The UAE is our home base and our proving ground, but the vision has always been regional. We are targeting a wider audience of investors and real estate enthusiasts across the Gulf and beyond, and the ambassador partnership is one pillar of that plan, alongside strategic sponsorships, media partnerships, and institutional collaborations. There are other high-caliber partnerships we will announce at the appropriate stages, and I can say that each one has been selected with the same standard we applied here, it must elevate the brand and serve the user.
Celebrity partnerships in tech sometimes attract skepticism, the concern that image is being used to cover for substance. How do you respond to that?
I respond by pointing to the substance. Skepticism is healthy, and I would rather earn trust than demand it. The partnership with Dareen Haddad amplifies our message, it does not replace it. The product must stand on its own, in the accuracy of its analysis, the transparency of its methodology, and the professional foundation behind it. If the app did not deliver, no ambassador in the world could save it. Because it does deliver, the right ambassador helps it reach people who would otherwise never have discovered it. That is the correct order of operations, substance first, then reach.
How do you see the PropTech sector evolving in the region over the next few years?
Very rapidly, and in a direction that favors exactly what we are building. The region, and the UAE in particular, has embraced digital transformation in real estate at a pace few markets can match, digital transactions, open data initiatives, and a regulatory environment that encourages innovation. The next frontier is intelligence, not just digitizing processes, but making them smarter. Valuation sits at the heart of every real estate decision, buying, selling, financing, and investing, so smart valuation is, in my view, the natural center of gravity for the sector’s next phase. Those who combine regulated expertise with genuine AI capability will lead it.
A final word?
We believe the future of real estate valuation in the region will be smart, transparent, and data-driven, and WeValue AI was created to lead that transformation. Our partnership with Dareen Haddad is a step that expresses this ambition in the clearest way, trusted technology, a refined image, and a message that reaches everyone, from the seasoned institutional investor to the family valuing their first home. This is only the beginning.
