With over a decade of experience in international business, consulting, and coaching, Mary has received numerous accolades. Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

Hi, my name is Mary Fashanu, and I’m passionate about empowering women and individuals to live fulfilled, limitless lives. I wear many hats in my life, including being an author, a global speaker, a business strategy consultant, founder and president of The Maverick Group Inc, and the founder of Made for More International CIC, a community where women come together to grow in leadership, business, career, wellness, financial independence, and faith. My mission is to help women break barriers and thrive, no matter their circumstances.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a wife and a mom, and my family is my greatest source of joy and inspiration. I also love traveling and exploring new places, as it fuels my creativity and helps me connect with diverse perspectives. Reading, listening to audible and inspirational talks and journaling are some of my favourite hobbies they give me moments of reflection and allow me to grow constantly.

I’m also deeply passionate about faith, and it influences much of what I do. Whether it’s mentoring women through my MentorMe program, writing books like The Limitless You, or speaking at conferences, I’m always driven by the belief that each of us has a unique, God-given potential to make an impact in the world.

In a nutshell, I’m all about creating spaces where women can rise and thrive, embracing who they are while pursuing their dreams fearlessly.

What role does the "Made For More International" community play within your overall mission?

The Made for More International community is at the very heart of my mission to empower women to break barriers and live fulfilled lives. It’s more than just a community—it’s a movement that brings together women from all walks of life who are passionate about leadership, business, career advancement, wellness, financial independence, personal development, and faith.

This community serves as a safe, supportive space where women can grow, connect, and thrive. It’s a place where they’re reminded that they’re not alone in their journey and are given the tools, resources, and encouragement to step into their limitless potential.

Whether it’s through mentorship, workshops, or collaborative opportunities, we focus on practical ways to help women achieve their goals while balancing the demands of life.

Ultimately, Made for More International is a living expression of my mission—to inspire women to see beyond their current circumstances, overcome challenges, and create a life they’re proud of. It’s where transformation happens, and every step forward by a member is a testament to the power of community and purpose-driven support.

How do your consulting and coaching services address the unique challenges faced by women in today's world?

My consulting and coaching services are designed to address the unique challenges women face today by combining practical strategies with a deep understanding of the barriers women often encounter in leadership, business, and life. Whether it’s navigating work-life integration and alignment, breaking through systemic biases, or building confidence, my approach is tailored to empower women holistically.

In my consulting work, I focus predominantly on helping women-led businesses streamline their processes, implement systems, and embrace automation to create sustainable growth. Many women juggle multiple roles, so I aim to simplify their operations and give them the tools they need to work smarter, not harder. This not only boosts their business performance but also frees up time for them to focus on their passions and personal goals.

Through coaching, particularly in programs like Limitless You Transformative Coaching, I create a safe space for women to explore their ambitions and overcome limiting beliefs. I help them build clarity around their vision, develop actionable plans, and stay accountable as they pursue their goals. By addressing mindset alongside practical steps, I equip women to rise above challenges like self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or societal expectations.

Ultimately, my services are about helping women unlock their full potential while honouring their unique journeys. Whether they’re aiming to lead confidently, pivot careers, or build thriving businesses, I’m committed to supporting them every step of the way.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

One of my greatest career achievements so far has been building the Made for More International community and watching it transform into a powerful movement that empowers women globally. It started as a simple vision to create a safe space for women to grow, but it has grown into a vibrant platform where women connect, inspire each other, and break through barriers in leadership, business, and life.

I’m incredibly proud of the impact it’s had—not just in helping women achieve their goals, but in fostering a mindset of abundance and limitless possibilities. The community has opened doors for so many, from career advancements to successful business launches, and seeing those transformations is the most rewarding part of my work.

Another milestone I hold close to my heart is the publication of my book, The Limitless You. Writing this book was deeply personal, and sharing it with the world felt like a culmination of my journey of overcoming challenges and embracing my own limitless potential. The positive feedback and stories from women who’ve been inspired by it have been humbling and reaffirming.

I received multiple recognitions in 2022 for my exceptional leadership and entrepreneurship in the UK. The African Business Chamber (AfBC) named me as one of the top 100 African business leaders, while the UK Black Business Guide acknowledged me as a leading expert in my field for my results-driven approach to business transformation.

Additionally, I was nominated for the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year award by Northern Power Women, a prominent business community in North England.

I am actively involved in promoting leadership and employability through my corporate engagement with the Salford Business School.

All these achievements reflect my commitment to my mission of empowering women and individuals, and they remind me every day that when you create spaces for others to thrive, the ripple effects can be extraordinary.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

A pivotal moment in my life that shaped who I am today was when I experienced a season of self-doubt and felt stuck despite having the qualifications and skills to succeed. At the time, I was juggling multiple responsibilities—family, career, and personal aspirations—but I felt held back by fear, limiting beliefs, and societal expectations. It was a challenging period, but it also forced me to take a hard look at myself and my potential.

During this time, I made the decision to invest in personal growth and rediscover my purpose. I immersed myself in books, mentorship, and faith, which helped me not only overcome those internal barriers but also recognise that my experiences could serve as a blueprint for others facing similar struggles. I realised I wasn’t just overcoming for myself—I was building a foundation to help other women rise too.

This awakening inspired me to launch Made for More International, write transformative books like The Limitless You, and step into coaching and consulting. That moment of reflection and decision to take charge of my future was the catalyst that led me to empower other women to do the same. It’s now my mission to help women realise that they’re not defined by their circumstances and that with the right mindset and tools, they can create a life that is truly limitless.

How does your approach differ from other empowerment platforms in fostering both inspiration and tangible transformation?

My approach stands out because it bridges the gap between inspiration and tangible transformation by combining mindset shifts with actionable strategies. Many empowerment platforms focus solely on motivation, but I believe true transformation happens when inspiration is paired with practical tools and consistent support.

First, I place a strong emphasis on addressing mindset. I help women identify and break free from limiting beliefs that often hold them back, such as imposter syndrome or fear of failure. By fostering a growth mindset rooted in confidence, faith, and self-awareness, I lay the foundation for lasting change.

Second, I prioritise equipping women with practical, actionable steps. Whether through my The Limitless You Transformative Coaching program, Business Consulting, or Mentoring, I focus on strategies that can be implemented immediately. For example, I guide women in streamlining their businesses with systems and processes, setting achievable career goals, and designing personalised action plans that align with their unique circumstances and aspirations.

Finally, what truly differentiates my platform is the community element. Through Made for More International, we’ve built a space where women support and collaborate with one another. It’s not just about individual success. It’s about creating a ripple effect of empowerment. By connecting women with shared goals and values, we cultivate a sense of accountability and collective growth.
