Fear has long clouded our understanding of Spirit. In this powerful reflection, Intuitive Energy Healer Gina Strole reveals why true spiritual connection is rooted in love, not fear. Learn how to raise your vibration, release limiting beliefs, and reconnect with the divine energy that guides and protects you.

“Fear isn’t protecting you anymore – it’s keeping you small.”

For over twenty years, I’ve lived in the world of energy, feeling it, reading it, healing with it, and helping others understand it.

And yet, even today, I still hear people say things like:

  • “Be careful what you open yourself up to.”

  • “Spirit energy can be dangerous.”

  • “Don’t call in what you can’t control.”

Just recently, I watched a video where someone warned against decorating for Halloween or carving pumpkins because it “invites bad entities.” She claimed spiritual energy could attach, harm, or even possess you.

And I thought to myself, how deeply fear has shaped our understanding of Spirit. We’ve been told to fear what we can’t see, to distrust what we can’t logically explain, and to suppress the intuitive wisdom that has guided humanity since the beginning of time. But the truth is simpler and more beautiful than we’ve been led to believe.

Spirit is not to be feared. Spirit is love.

Energy has no agenda, it simply is

Everything in the Universe is energy. You, me, the trees, your thoughts, your emotions, all of it vibrates at a certain frequency. Spirit energy is no different.

When you vibrate in love, peace, joy, and gratitude, you’re attuned to high-frequency energy, and it naturally attracts more of the same. Spirit meets you where you are energetically. When your vibration is high, you will only connect with high-vibrational spirits, your guides, angels, ancestors, and loved ones who are here to help you heal and grow.

But it’s also true that low-vibrational energies are drawn to fear, because fear is the energy they understand. They feed on that vibration, not because they are powerful, but because fear is a dense frequency that resonates with disconnection.

The way out of that heaviness isn’t by closing yourself off or hiding from the unknown. It’s through understanding, raising your vibration, and realizing that the “unknown” isn’t truly unknown at all. It’s simply beyond the realm of your current awareness.

Once you raise your frequency, what once felt scary becomes familiar. It’s not.

Halloween and the old paradigm of fear

Let’s talk about Halloween, that magical time when the veil between worlds is said to be thinner. It’s not evil, and it’s not dangerous. It’s simply a time of heightened connection, a sacred opportunity to sense the presence of Spirit more easily. Yes, energy is everywhere, but energy always matches energy.

When you’re living from love and curiosity, carving pumpkins with joy, decorating with laughter, and celebrating the magic of life, you’re not “inviting in evil.” You’re opening your heart to connection, to fun, to the unseen world that loves you deeply. Halloween was never meant to be a season of fear. It’s a celebration of life, of transformation, and of remembering that death isn’t an ending, it’s just another form of energy.

It’s time to rewrite the story. Spirit isn’t waiting to harm you. Spirit is waiting to help you. One of the most empowering things you can realize is that your energy is your responsibility. You are not at the mercy of outside forces. You are the creator of your vibration. Every thought, every word, every emotion you entertain shapes your frequency. So if you want to live in peace, joy, and abundance, you must start aligning your energy to match that vibration.

How to change your frequency and reclaim your power

Here’s how to begin:

  • Become aware of your energy. Pause throughout your day and notice how you feel. Are you tense, rushed, or fearful? Or are you relaxed, open, and connected? Awareness is the first step to transformation.

  • Choose love over fear. When fear arises, don’t fight it. Meet it with compassion. Ask, “What is this fear trying to show me?” Then gently shift your focus to gratitude, beauty, or something that brings you joy. Love instantly raises your vibration.

  • Ground and clear your energy daily. Spend time in nature. Breathe deeply. Move your body. Imagine light moving through your energy field, washing away anything that isn’t yours. You’ll feel lighter, calmer, and more centered in your truth.

  • Connect with Spirit intentionally. Light a candle. Set an intention. Invite your spirit guides or angels to join you in love and protection. When you approach Spirit from a vibration of peace, only peaceful energy will meet you.

  • Surround yourself with high-vibe people and environments. Your surroundings amplify your energy. Choose joyful music, supportive conversations, and spaces that feel good. Energy flows where attention goes, so choose where you place yours. When you begin to live this way, fear naturally fades. Your vibration becomes your protection, a powerful beacon that only calls in love, truth, and light.

Returning to our spiritual roots

In recent months, I’ve been called to return to my own roots, to Spirit, to the work that feels like home. To teach others how to reconnect with their guides, trust their intuition, and heal the wounds that keep them living in fear.

Because when you stop creating from fear and start living from your higher self, everything changes. Relationships heal. Money flows. Peace replaces anxiety. And you finally remember who you are, a soul having a human experience. This is what true healing is, not fixing what’s broken, but remembering what’s whole.

Spirit is not the enemy, disconnection is

The truth is, the only “darkness” that exists is the disconnection we feel when we forget who we are, when we forget that we are energy. That we are powerful creators. That Spirit is always around us, guiding us, cheering us on, and holding us in love.

There is nothing to fear when you live from love. Nothing to fear when your vibration is high. Nothing to fear when you remember that you are Spirit too. So decorate your house, light your candles, carve your pumpkins, and celebrate the magic. Because this season, and this life, is about remembering that Spirit is home.
