We thrive from others' input and engagement. We love to power others up and catapult them forward.

It’s through others' power and effect that we come to know our own limitless boundaries.

Who I am when I am alone, and who am I when I write or interact with my wonderful clients are two (or more) different people.

This is due to energy, vibe, and reactions to how each other's thoughts and more bounce off each other. But it's more than just a reaction. It's an inspiration.

I find myself in you — my Otherness at play.

To put it more simply, the true Source or Spirit opens up when I am thinking of you (and not myself).

We are more than the (sum) some of us. Don't you agree?

When do I find myself in you?

Here is a list of examples recognizable as everyday occurrences

  • The phone rings just as you were going to call that person. Who thought who into action? Perhaps there is a collective creation.

  • Asking a question to a colleague or pal and starting, the answer you needed comes to you.

  • You have a problem, and you seek out someone to help and advise; they go through options with you, which you already knew (but perhaps needed to hear objectively). Da da!

  • You make a mistake at work, and it's damn it, of an ilk you often stuff up, and so your manager brings you to task on it. Reflecting on you, they are your best mirror.

  • You have the spark of an idea, and you brainstorm it with others, and wow, does it get the concept rolling, snowballing, and becomes so powerful it takes off. Others take it up and call it their own. Wha!

  • You do something that annoys a colleague or your partner, and it's showing you - what? That they have annoying traits? It's more likely that it shows you what you don't like in yourself. I find myself in you!

  • You debate and argue, maintaining your position and stick stubbornly with it. The more you argue, the ‘stronger’ your position.

Who said, ‘argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they’re yours?' Jonathan Livingston Seagull, of course (from a book of the same name by Richard Bach). Always a good read for self-reflection and boundless limits.

Who am I ? Am I just me? No Way-ee. Together we be. Isn't it great when someone actually affirms your great talents? They got you. They get you. Be grateful. Let’s face it when we are different. Not everybody gets us.

And if your convo-artists have a different idea to add, well, embrace it and realize that this doesn't necessarily mean they disagree with you. They may have something to add or just have a different angle they view from.

Right or not, creative or stuck, we bounce off each other—more than we know at times. We wax and wane because there is an energy transference with others, and it's diminished or perhaps just different when we are on our own.

Even when someone seems totally against you, they are exchanging energy.

The other is with you, even in an argument, because it's still communication, even if it's flawed.

Think of the energy flying around at times, it's almost, heck, it is -tangible. See red! The green-eyed monster in jealousy and so forth. The energies at play are given actual names! Does it transform us? Maybe?

What energy are you sharing? A constructive or destructive form? If we suspend judgment, both are simply positions in a spectrum of creativity. The simplest analogy of this is seen in Mother Earth. From composting comes fertile soil, creation, and new life.

Creative sharing and idea brainstorming are potent forces.

Where does any manifestation start? With the spark of an idea from an artistic or creative thinker. From a seed planted. Followed up by action taking on the ideas by the Creator or Innovator.

If you wonder if you are creative or not, join in a conversation, comment, become engaged, and see where it takes you.

Let your imagination take flight. Some may disagree or try to drag you back to ‘their reality.’

Regardless you don’t always have to be recognized as being right.

Enjoy the process, the journey, the creative play. You may surprise yourself with the truths you uncover for yourself and others in the process.
