5 Modest Swimsuits For Summer Vacation

Perhaps you will be surprised, but modest swimwear used to not be a desired style of swimsuit at all. There used to be a stigma that modest swimwear was outdated and frumpy. Thankfully, we have said goodbye to the old days of unflattering silhouettes and ugly patterns in the modest swimwear world. There are so many more modest swimwear options available these days – which is in thanks to a select handful of modest swimwear companies offering adorable boy short swimsuit bottoms, tankinis, midkinis, one piece swimsuits, full-coverage swimsuit bottoms, and the list goes on!

But what exactly is modest swimwear? Perhaps each person would define it differently. However, we can probably all agree that modest swimwear is a full-coverage swimsuit. If we are talking about a modest one piece swimsuit, then it typically has generous coverage in the chest and backside. On the other hand, if we are talking about a two-piece swimsuit, then it could be a tankini or midkini. Again, modest swimwear will usually have full-coverage swimsuit bottoms and more specifically, they can oftentimes be a high-waisted swimsuit bottom. With modest swimwear in high demand and the summer season rapidly approaching, we decided to do a round-up of our very own modest swimwear options. Drumroll, please …

2. Next up in our modest swimwear lineup is this preppy one piece swimsuit that has the most adorable blue and white gingham pattern on its buttery soft fabric. 4. This retro bikini belongs in a fairytale with its muted hues of blues, purples, and grays – we are obsessed with the color scheme! This modest swimwear could probably be classified as a midkini swimsuit since the bandeau top provides just a little more tummy coverage than your typical bandeau top. The high-waisted swimsuit bottoms hit in all the right places - right at the belly button with full cheek coverage in the back. We like how the frontside of the swimsuit bottoms sit low where it could almost be a sexy boy short. The fabric is compressive and soft – plus it comes with removable bra pads.
