At the end of each year, I create a Vision Board for the incoming year that’s pretty much my anticipation for the year in pictures and words. I include everything I’d like to accomplish ranging from places I desire to travel to, books I’d love to read, the number of times I go to Therapy, rewards for goal accomplishment, and how much money I’d like to generate in my business and the list goes on.

For many people, it doesn’t go beyond pictures on a pretty board because they fail to plan and you know how the saying goes, “If you fail to plan, plan to fail.” In an effort to accomplish at least 90% of what’s on the board and assure I have a great year it requires an action plan and a strategy because manifestation is NOT magic it simply requires action to bring a goal from vision to fruition.

I use a 4 step process to make my vision come to fruition. The first step is to study each segment of the board. My board is divided into 4 quadrants: Mental Health, Physical Health, Finances, and Spirituality. Things I want to accomplish in each area to help me to elevate. I determine everything I desire to accomplish in each quadrant and add a picture or word that coincides with the goal onto the board.

The next phase is for me to determine when I’d like to accomplish each goal in each quadrant. For example, one of my goals is to lose 50 pounds. I must give that goal date so I may say, I will lose 50 pounds by June 30th. So the when is June 30th.

The next phase is to map out the action strategy to accomplish the goal. The action plan naturally should include implementing an exercise routine-how often will you exercise, creating a meal plan, etc.

The final phase is to take action and do the thing whatever it is. Sticking with weight loss, I have to actually go to the gym and do more than take pictures at the gym for the gram lol lol. I must actually exercise and actually follow the meal plan, etc.

Let me show you what each step looks like when applying one of my goals just to give you an idea of how to implement the strategy so that you’re also accomplishing your goals.

One of my goals for 2022 is to travel every month and 4 times to travel out of the Country. I first had to decide on the destinations I desired to travel to. Travel destinations for the year are Arizona, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Colorado, Minnesota, Miami, Greece, Dubai, Aruba, and Tulum. This is a list of 12 destinations which means the next step was to determine when I would travel to each destination. It’s not a process that requires overthinking. I’m from the South and we don’t get snow so I know I’d like to go to Colorado during the snow season.

That means either Jan-March or Nov-Dec. My mastermind was having a retreat in January, a conference in April in Dallas, a clients’ grand opening in May in Houston, and a speaking engagement in Tulum in July. I automatically plug those destinations on the calendar. After I’ve completed all the locations where I have an event, I see which months are still open and what destinations remain and simply plug them into a month. Once I have all the destinations assigned to a month and date the next step is to book my flight and find a hotel or living quarters for the destination. The final step is when the time comes “GO”!!!

This is the same strategy I typically use to map out all of the goals I plan to accomplish in all 4 quadrants.

The process of manifesting your goals and living your best life is often complicated by overthinking when in fact it is simple. It’s merely knowing

  • What do you want to accomplish?

  • When would you like to accomplish it?

  • What's the strategy to accomplish it?

  • Finally, take the action. Just do it!!

You’re literally 4 steps from living your best life so take action, stop existing and start LIVING!!
