Your Inner Critic is the voice in the back of your head who makes sure you do an excellent job. He’s not a bad guy, but he can turn into a loud little fellow who’s stopping you from taking aligned action. Is he showing up in your coaching business? Find out in this article.

As I’m writing this article a voice appears in the back of my mind. “Change this sentence, I don’t like it”. Well, speaking of the devil... Meet my Inner Critic. Aka the guy who’s helping me write a high-quality article at this very moment. He doesn’t have bad intentions. He wants to make sure I’m doing my best. That’s why he’s here. We all have one. Yes, you too. And that’s fine.

The problem starts when your Inner Critic becomes loud. About a year ago he showed up in my coaching business. I invested $10k in a high-end Marketing Mastermind led by a 7-figure coach.

I met the most incredible coaches from all over the world. At first, I felt excited, but that turned into fear. “What if I’m not good enough?” and “What if I don’t get results?”. That was the perfect moment for the Inner Critic to become loud and take over control. And so he did.

I wanted to create a new coaching offer, but something was stopping me. I would create a workbook and my loud Inner Critic showed up. He would say things like “It’s not good enough”, “Your clients aren’t going to like it” and “You must perfect it”. Making me feel pressured and stressed.

I knew that what he was saying didn’t make any sense, but that didn’t matter. I ended up wasting a lot of precious time in my business. Everything changed when I discovered how to silence him when he’s loud. That's when I developed the "Mindset Mastery Method".

So, let’s find out if you have a loud Inner Critic. Here are the 3 signs:

1. It takes you a while to get something done.

You want to launch your new coaching offer, but you keep perfecting it. Your Inner Critic tells you it’s not good enough yet. So you check what other “successful” coaches are offering to get inspired. You see that their offers are different and you start to doubt yourself. So you change your offer again and again. It leaves you feeling stressed.

2. You procrastinate.

You say “I’ll write social media posts tomorrow”, but you know it’s not going to happen. You procrastinate because you’re protecting yourself from burnout. That’s because your Inner Critic demands perfection. Meaning you spend hours writing a single post So you end up not doing it all. Which makes you feel frustrated.

3. You doubt your brilliance.

Isn’t it funny? You know that you’re an incredible coach and that you can get your client's mind blowing results, but somehow you don't believe it. You keep doubting your greatness. You just brush it off with “I was just lucky” or “I had a great client”. You end up feeling insecure about your abilities as a coach.

Do you have a loud Inner Critic? It’s best if you reach out for help. Trust me I’ve been in your shoes. The problem isn’t going to solve itself. That’s why I’m gifting you a Mindset Makeover Session, it’s a 60-minute call where we'll dive deep into your situation to understand what you need help with.

You'll walk away being clear about your "roadblocks" and I'll give you one small step in order for you to change it. My intention for this call is to give you value, but If I think we would be a great fit to work together I’ll share several options with you.
